Not even close, DM isn't as much of a defensive liability and advanced metric the last two years have him as a positive defender.
If he gets to Miami he'll be a superstar, the choaching staff will unlock another level, just like they do with most players.

I'd try everything to get him and sign (trade Jimmy if you have to), Bam/DM is a real core you can build around and both are in their prime for years.
