Back on board with the negative wingspan?

Strike 1 on Flip 6’10 wingpan lol. Ware has a monster 7’7 wingspan wow

So your'e telling me there's a 7'0 20YO with a monstrous 7'7 wingsapn that just shot 42% from 3 while blocking 2 shots per game as a Sophomore..

And we're picking Anthony Carter 2.0?!

1.3 3PA per game for Ware and 63% FT shooting have me real suspect that he's got a real 3 point shot. But, damn is he VERY intriguin if he does

Really like his post game and turn around J look buttery smooth with a high release. Lots of upside here for sure.

Looks like he’s matured and would seem to welcome the umbrella of Heat Culture. Damn he’s a skyscraper that can move.

Could definately see a world were this kid is playing center floating around as a weakside shot blocker, and Bam is switching on the perimeter funnelling him to a death trap. Also as Bam takes leaps into shooting more threes, could make him easier to play the PF spot next to a bigger center. Bam already abuses most Centers, the nba as a whole uses a lot of small tweener or larger wings at the PF spot, Bam would dominate there physically abuse most PF's.

https://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft

Updated mock has us taking McCain but most notable is Flip at 16 and Ware at 19. Good chance we’ll be able to have our choice of prospects.

I think I just fell in love......

This guy looks to have huge upside, elite physical tools, natural shooting touch, shot blocking..

With some developing he can be Myles Turner +

Unless he's a total headcase, You've got to roll the dice on him, supersize the entire team

Roizer
Jimmy/JJJ
Jovic/Duncan
Bam/Love
Ware

If this guy hits, it can change the entire team

I agree nice to see a consensus building in here now.

Might flip flop later this week but for now Ware is my #1 target.

Seems to be a great combination of upside + readiness to help now + fit.

1 great pick can change the trajectory of this team.

Might want to trade Herro to Utah for their 8th pick to get Ware.

I was a one man fan for Lively last year (similar profile to Ware). Mocks had him available later and he went 10th.

No way Jazz does that. But I'd trade Herro for ANY top 25 FRP if any team is giving it for him. Doubt any team will.

Ainge has had mahogany for Herro since he got drafted. In THIS draft, the top ten isnt littered with star potential guys. More busts than beef if you will.

It’s possible Ainge doesn’t feel that way anymore. Let alone he probably does not want Herro’s contract when he’s on the hook with Clarkson.

Yeah I think Ainge has walked himself of that ledge already watching Herro.

Ware on paper has all the tools you want in a modern center prospect. In this draft, you'd think he'd be up there in the top 10 with Clingan. But he isn't, hes usually late lottery or even mid to late round. That laziness reputation keeps popping up. Some of these scouts like at NBA Big Board even said he had the type of contagious laziness issues that messes with teams when they're bad or down big.

The heat probably wouldn't let that side, but is he the type that will conform to the Heat culture, or will he burn out after a couple years like Whiteside?

Fair points. It’s hard to guage this lazy moniker on a teenager and especially one as massive as he is that everything has probably come so easy for him. Based off recent accounts it’s sounds like he’s matured and was guided very well by Mike Woodson since his freshman year struggles at Oregon. Heat Culture sounds like the perfect marriage for a kid like this that’s accepting the guidance now and wants to get better.
