I love it....there is something there....

Watching those wide angle views during the telecast, Duncan is back to almost his bubble level of gravity and moving people around on defense to account for him...now the dude can attack off the dribble, or pass out of it. Awesome stuff....

I think we will see a day when the passing and playmaking hits a level we have not seen in a while

Miami has some dudes who can help others score

I don't watch enough other teams to say what counts as a great assist team...but this team looks great at not just sharing the ball but setting up others to get buckets.

Eventually Jovic will show up and between Bam, Jimmy, Jovic, JJJ, Duncan, Herro and lowery...so many guys that can move people on defense and set other players up with easy baskets.

Great game. JRich has to stop shooting 3's at the end of games. Just my opinion.

They have a ton of ball handlers. They've got points at every position. Everybody has been making the extra pass.

JJJ may turn out to be our 6th man from the very beginning fits in nicely with the second unit, can handle, brings poise, plays defense, gets players into good offense, great post game, very strong closer.

Duncan has always been the key. Made it to the finals with him starting. Made it to the finals again with him working his way back into the rotation after being ridiculously benched. A guy that can shoot that well should never be benched.

It's time for somebody to start a "JJJ Rookie of the Year" thread!

I am very impressed. I did not expect him to have as much impact on the offensive game. Miami is maximizing its picks, almost every time. The only exception really is Achiuwa, and he was still decent. It makes me question whether we should be more stingy about giving up picks.

His usage is very high, but Chet and Wemby are stiff competition.

As a Bulls fan, I’ve already got about half a dozen posts noting how he’s better than Patrick Williams.

I like how your board is referring to him as JJJ. After this summer’s Team USA disappointment, JJJ plays for Miami, who has taken the initials moniker from Jaren Jackson who plays for Memphis.

Good win. This is how it should have played out on Saturday.

On another note, good idea to keep Duncan in the starting lineup. The synergy is back and we’re a way higher ceiling team when he’s performing like this

Glad to see we weren’t too cool for school this game and stayed locked in.

Maybe Robinson had an off year last year because he was trying to incorporate all these things into his game, it is finally clicking for him this season. Dude legit wouldn't even hit the three last season. But he seems to be back and with a vengeance. Cronin looking really goofy by the game. They could have had Jaquez at least and maybe Duncan with a few picks and would have been surprised by what they had. Instead, they got one of Time Lord's lower extremities and the corpse of Brogdon. Oh, and picks 5-6 years out which was one of the biggest complaints about them besides "What do you mean you won't give us everything you have for Dame?". I'm glad the trade did not happen. We're way better off for it.

I think Achiuwa would have been a different player had we kept him. No one maximizes a player like Spoelstra.

Really thrilled to see JJJ making such an immediate impact. I think this kid is so intangibly sound and talented that I see his floor as a suped up James Posey. I think his ceiling is to the level (with an obviously different skill set) of Shawn Marion. I just really love this guy.

Duncan needs his touches. Bam needs his touches. Jjj and jrich need their touches. Tyler Lowry and Jimmy don't need theirs to turn it on. Spo let Bam get his double last night which shows a shift in motivation. I like it
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Return to Miami Heat
