He doesn’t guard the teams best player, he doesn’t take over the game on offense, he’s playing like a MLE level player right now. One lil game winner vs a team that shouldn’t need a game winner doesn’t change anything. The fact is Jimmy has been sub par this season. And he’s the main reason we look “mediocre” because he especially has played mediocre ball all season

He usually take it easy till allstar break, then we start seeing All NBA level performances from him. The bet has paid off in the recent playoffs so I guess it is what it is. I think Heat feel the standings don't matter and as long as they are healthy they can beat anyone. And looking at last year, we can't argue with it.
If Butler still looks like this post All star then there would be cause for alarm. But I'm taking it as him preserving himself for the playoffs

Truth is our defense is broken. We go on out best runs when we get stops. We aren't doing that consistently throughout the whole game anymore.

Yes, much respect to Minny. They made plays when they had to. They had a guy takeover and we did not.

nice to finally have a top young guy w that dog in him.

I bet youre loving this. Everybody said the trade was awful. Towns is a little whiny, but now he has Ant shining bright to balance it out. The Wolves are figuring it out.

No reason for him to be shooting that much down the stretch against a team full of sequoia trees

They baited him. Bam doesn't look well. Not that he's bad, but I wonder if he's still hurting? We got our ass whooped though in the second half. Kudos and props to minny.

He looked how he always looks

Some greats plays mixed in with some goofy ones

Nah, 10/22 is not what he usually does. Bam doesn't chuck.

It would be strange if they weren’t winning. They have DPOY center, they have Towns, star player Edwards (pos guy tho)that takes over when the game is up for grabs, and good role players like Nas Reid. Good enough for a championship? Probably not. Still very nice team to watch

:-? Take it easy, guys This team Has a built for playoffs mentality... Just like Jimmy!!

I don't like it but that is reality... Yes, you have to admit we are on schedule... The miami heat has a different beat Then the rest of the teams.

spo, The front office and the players Seem to have their own set of rules... I trust we will be there in the end... It's OK I guess.

I think KingDavid is right, Bam wasn’t even rebounding the ball. I think he rushed back because he doesn’t want to miss out on the money that he would make by making an all nba team (understandable).

Maybe, but that’s a bit charitable

Fact is that he was up against tall opponents who played well and Gobert outplayed him.

And it’s natural that fans are gonna want to give the benefit of the doubt as to why his missed a bunch of bunnies.

1-Caught on camera being overly homophobic
2-Telling a girl to “abort the child lol”. Just throwing away life cuz he can’t own up to his responsibilities like a man.

And those are just the things made public. Great player, terrible person. Can’t just excuse these morons cuz they are skilled at bouncing a ball

Yeah this is not a team to take serious until after the Allstar break. No point in getting invested until then, right now it's just passively watch the games. If we win nice, if we lose oh well. It is comical that the team acts like it can flip a switch when we haven't won a ring in like a decade but it is what it is. This team is like a bipolar person lol.

Return to Miami Heat
