Amare being out there is as big as when Shaq was out there when we got him. You dont pass up on the opportunity of having two TOP 10 players on 1 team. We won with Shaq/Wade and ANTOINE WALKER as our 3rd option. We can win with Wade/Amare and the rest of these guys. I cant believe people are debating having JO or Amare, or having Beasley or Amare. We can skip the whole waiting process right away.

And unlike with Shaq, we will have bigger than a 3 year window to get better and get a more legit 3rd option, unlike last time. (we still won)

That portland offer, if correct, will be impossible to top. Steve kerr should be all over that.

I'm glad some people out there agree that they fail to see the upside in Beasley that many Heat fans seem so fanatical about.

And also that there are some Heat fans out there agree that we don't pass up the opportunity for Amare if we have a chance.

The thing is Amare game is nothing like Shaq, is a face up shooter (post game) and complete disregard for playing defense or playing center. Getting Amare is like getting Wade and forcing him to play PG when he hates that yet expecting him to gladly sign an extention. Other than that i like Amare but not at the price tag of marion + beasley.

Beasley/Marion for Amare sounds better then Hinrich/TT/Drew Gooden. Hopefully Marion/Banks for J.O deal gets done and we go after Amare in 2010.

We're back in it baby! WOOO! :wizard: (we need a coffee drinking emoticon)

From wiretap
Phoenix is now focused on Eastern Conference teams in their attempt to find the best package possible for Amar'e Stoudemire.

The Bulls remain a serious contender due to Drew Gooden's expiring contract and Larry Hughes' expiring deal next season, plus the largest expiring trade exception in the league ($5.2 million).

But Miami is the latest team to emerge as a serious landing spot for Stoudemire, a person with direct knowledge of the talks said Wednesday night.

Although its highly unlikely lets all pray and hope that Riley can pull off a trade for Amare without giving up Chalmers or Beasley. If Kwame Brown can turn into Caron Butler and Paul Gasol anything is possible. Just need a little bit of fairy dust and some weed to give Kerr.

If we do get him I hope we get Lopez as a throw in.

yeah why not, could turn into our version of Varejo, ugly hair, ugly style of play, but might actually help the team. Hopefully.

Coming to add more fuel to the fire.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/20 ... ire-offer/

Several NBA insiders asserted that Phoenix and Miami would like Memphis to facilitate a deal that would send Stoudemire to South Beach. One scenario has the Griz possibly acquiring Heat rookie forward Michael Beasley in the three-way transaction.

Here's my scenario. Picks I'm sure would be added.

Ahh screw you BG, lmfao. I just saw you post this on IGN an I was coming on here to post that.

... I would so do that deal then turn around and trade Marion and Banks for JO.

As much as i like Beasley, i think we would have to do that deal. We then Trade Marion/Banks for J.O! Or Marion/Banks for Brad Miller/John Salmons.

J.O-Jamal Magloire
Amare-Jold
James Jones or John Salmons
Wade-Diawara
Chalmers-Quinn

All about those assassin skills. Gotta be quick Blaze. :D

I'm hoping Phoenix would like it. They immediately get about $6.5M off the books. Buckner has a $1M buyout this offseason making him about a $3M expiring. They get young pieces with the option of keeping Warrick or letting him go. And one or both our teams could give them a pick.

Wait, that deal would leave Memphis with Beasley AND Mayo, not to mention Conley and Gay. That would not be fair haha... Would you still do it if it required Conley instead of Lowry BG?

Well we are taking Blount off of your hands and the Suns will be getting young pieces and picks. We would probably give up the most picks.

But I will say this ... I created a trade Conley thread the day after acquiring Mayo so I'm the wrong Griz fan to ask that to. LOL.

Blount turns from a negative to a positive in about 6 months though because you got a huge expiring on your hands next year.

True. At the same time that still leaves you guys to use Marion for another deal.
