We did it on the road so winning at home is very likely especially since Greg Oden is out. I know Portland is a very talented team and they might seek revenge for our win on their floor and maybe also come in with some extra motivation after losing to the Magic but I'd be very upset if we loose. We should win this but don't take them lightly.

bayless or miller will tear up chalmers. Beasley and Aldrige will be fun to watch. Also excited to see Dorrel play. Should win this one.

I've watched the POR-ORL game...

Watch out for LMA, first and foremost. He struggled really badly and had a crappy 3 pt 1 reb game or something like that. The dude will bounce back.

And yes, Bayless/Miller, heck even Blake will torch Chalmers, Wade/Roy will probably be equal but Roy will be defended better since Q will guard him, Wade's having a back spasm and a wrist injury, meh.

The bench needs to step up again, and at times, Portland will play a small line-up, which has ROy at the 4. (LMA - Roy - Miller - Bayless - Blake)

Overall, as long as they don't get too overconfident, like pre-game of the Memphis one, Miami can squeeze this one. Portland really gave Orlando a tough battle, but just collapsed entirely in the last 6 minutes, and speaking of which, the AAA shud get it. I haven't heard noise from it, I understand Miami is flooded, but it has to be the worst arena in terms of player motivation. It's all Mike Baiamonte putting the energy with his speaking, and the dancers energizing them. That's basically it.

Lets see if we can keep up with the way we play last 2 games. If Beasley can score 20 or more and Wade can be a 25 ptos and 8 plus assist we should win. I would really like to see Wade averaging more assists per game and taking more qualit shots. Something like 2/5 from 3, 9/10 from FT and 5/10 from 2 . He is more than capable of doing that.

Question, if Wade average 25 points, 10 assist, 5 rebs, 2 stills and 1 block and we manage to win 50 games, do you guys think that he would win the MVP ? Nash won with 18 points, 12 assists, 2 rebs, 1 stills and 0 blocks if I am not mistaken ,,,

Also, I think that we will dominate the glass since lamarcus aldrige is a terrible rebounder, and the blazers currently lack size. As long as we can keep a man in front of the guards to prevent penetration we will be alright. If we can't keep a body on the drivers then our rebounding advantage will be nuetralized because or bigs will have to rotate over to contest. To juxtapose my last point, we have dorrel and Q at sf so this might not even affect rebounding since both these guys are pretty good at it. I predict d-wright has a double double. We lose if roy gets 35 pts.

Dorell Wright stats:

17 points | 12 rebounds | 4 assists

We need production from Chalmers and Wright tonight if we expect to get a win.

Wade said the back spasms were nothing that would bother him and the wrist was getting better every day. So probably he's set for another efficient night. I'd really hope for it.
But you need everybody in this game, the Blazers are always a tough opponent and won't give us that many open looks as they gave us when we played at their place. Plus, they play at a higher tempo which is not necessiraly worse because it fits guys like Dwyane, Dorell and Beas.

I don't think Chalmers matters anymore. Arroyo will probably start over him now. Arroyo brings the tempo up which as stated before is good for Beas, Wade and Wright. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Chalmers is traded eventually. He is worse the Calderon as far as I'm concerned .

Go Blazers. Your OP is very xenophobic against Oregonians. I object.

Beasley gets the steal and Wade was running the floor for an easy layup and Beasley just keeps holding the ball in his hands...

I really don't like how we start this game.

We are now 6 minutes into the game and Michael Beasley has yet to touch the ball on offense(Not one time did he touch it) LOL.....Wade is playing very aggressive, I like it!

Wade is 1/6 and got back spasms... sounds like a 6/20 night.

At least he's taking it to the rim. He's missed 3 point blank ones. So that back may be bothering him more than thought.
