NHL Entry Draft-Bruins select Jordan Caron

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Thu Jun 25, 2009 3:25 pm

Round 1: Jordan Caron RW

Friday Night, 7:00 PM
Montreal, Bell Centre
Versus

The draft is friday night, and the bruins have the 25th overall pick.

Chia looks to move higher in the draft though. A spot or too.

Word has it the bruins are eyeing this Chris Kreider kid. Which is cool for two reasons. Local kid (boxford), and a really good talent. Only 18, he is a huge bruins fan as well.

This draft is big for another reason though, possible trades. If Chia sees that he can't re-sign kessel, then draft day would be the perfect day to trade him.

We'll see

I am quiet sure we wont trade kessel tonight. I also believe PC will trade four or five spots down to draft young prospect Chris Kreider.

He looks like a very good player, hometown boy going to Boston University next season. I like it

Trade broke down. Miscommunication. Chia must've gotten all excited he thought he was getting the number 7 pick as well

I am extremely excited about this kid. He looks and sounds like a Big Bad Bruin. He seems like he has a little bit of Lucic in him, but a tad bit more offensive minded. I really hope this kid cracks the nhl next season.

Same here. First thing I thought was Looch.

Rest of the bruins picks:

Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has made four selections on day two of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, tabbing defenseman Ryan Button, forward Lane Macdermid, forward Tyler Randell, and forward Ben Sexton.
