No, it's not legal. They can only raise his salary so much, and it's not much. Someone here will know the exact details, but it's nowhere close to 2/12.

Yeah, they'll have Non Bird Rights on Bev, which means they can pay 120% of this year's salary.

He is somehow getting the job done despite being glacial. Brook needs to take notes.

He started out a bit shaky and I got preemptively worried, but man, every "Oh, no" moment you thought he was about to do, clumsily worked out for him lol. I'll take whatever we can get.

This game made the pain of the entire season worth it. Second sweetest Buck win ever.

We don’t have the tpmle because of second apron or the like?

Asking for Pat Bev.

While on topic... would you pay 2 yrs - 12 mil? Player option? Lol go Bucks. He's proven he can start, he can finish, he can do the Jrue D role

Doesn't matter, they can't pay him that much.
I'll start up a collection. There's no rule against fans paying players, is there?

With dame and Gianni’s I think we win this series. Without them I think we are done Thursday. We just don’t have the horses and reserve players historically play worse on the road. I’d hate to punt another year of prime Gianni’s son really hoping we see both of them Thursday

I just dont like fans being picked up on the mics. Its annoying, and we know what he was trying to do. Im over it, would rather just talk about the win and next game

I think there’s a reasonable chance we get at least one of Giannis or Dame back for game 6.

But put some respect to Khris’ name.

He could be the top option on a team that makes it to the second round.

What's the most we can offer Bev?

Possible he takes another minimum but if he keeps this up he might be leaving real money on the table.
Add in a secret promise of a coaching gig after his playing days. Much like U for Miami.

Yeah, they'll have Non Bird Rights on Bev, which means they can pay 120% of this year's salary.

Even that is unnecessary. Bev was awesome with the Bulls to close last season, completely changed their culture, yet had only a few contract offers this past season, all for the minimum. I can't belive he chose Philly over us to start the year, but luckily he eventually landed where he belongs.

Also credit to Doc for that game. I **** on him all the time, but he was in his bag last night. It was nice to see him tinkering and pulling the right strings.

Alright Bucks, I'll be Charlie Brown and trust that you'll hold the ball as I go to kick it again.

Seriously what a great win. If we lose in game 6 so be it, I won't be happy about that but I will feel better this team fought hard without Giannis and Dame. Gives me hope for next year.

Yes, because if it was me we would've started AJJ, Green, and Beauchamp then lost by 30 probably.

Which reporter is Horst calling today to say this isn’t his fault?

(Thank you Jon for your service just please don’t keep trashing the team for your negotiating posture with Detroit while we might still save the season).

I was at the game. One of the better Fiserv crowds that I’ve ever been a part of.

The defensive activity was huge last night. Besides some miscues and lack of communication, our defense had Gallo looking competent on that end, which is a massive win for us and a credit to the coaching staff.

Middleton and Bobby were both huge for us. Credit to Bobby for taking a step back with his antics too, I’m sure that can’t be easy for him. After that Game 4 disaster, he came back and delivered. He looked so comfortable out there and I hope he takes that over to Game 6. Middleton is Middleton, and I have no doubt that he’ll be good tomorrow night.

I love Jrue but Pat Bev being a much more effective player on a minimum deal is just outstanding value. Payne and a 2nd for Bev is one of the deals of the season. He’s already a Milwaukee legend and it was awesome to see him outplay Halliburton.

Shoutout to Malik too. He finally had his Grayson Allen-Bryn Forbes first round special. It’s probably wishful thinking but, like Bobby, hopefully he takes that confidence into Game 6.

If Giannis or Dame are truly close, the Pacers are going to be sweating. All of the pressure is on them tomorrow. The vets (and maybe Giannis) vs. the front runners.

Kind of crazy how passive Hali is when attacking the basket. He got to the rim twice maybe and took a couple floaters? Seems like he could get that at will.

Not letting Turner have wide open threes from the top of the arc seemed to help.

Doc got them prepared and came up with a new plan. Does anyone think Bud could have pulled out a win here?
