You must not watch a lot of basketball outside of the bucks.

It’ll get better if Giannis is healthy in the playoffs.

The fact that they didn't fire him when they missed the playoffs last year is incredible.

Note that Cason Wallace is a 20 year old rookie who played 20 mpg for the Thunder this season who is having an impact in the playoffs. Just need a coach to actually **** coach and trust them. Newsflash to this organization!

I hope this year shuts everyone up about 2021. Durant + either Kyrie or Harden in every game Nets is way way better than anything the Celtics will face in the East this year.

Why wouldnt they wait ten days? Like beating a young Thunder team may add a couple mil but not much. On the flip, losing to them in 5 or less and you might have just decided you need an entirely new coach.

They've definitely struggled to acquire/develop young talent for a variety of reasons, but it's probably not a good comparison to look at teams playing recent lotto picks and the Bucks with 1 player drafted in the first round in the past 5 drafts and an average pick right around 50.

Also, if people are complaining about young talent, you have to go back to the Jrue Holiday trade. We gave up all our assets for a borderline, aging all-star that needed a 'max' contract. It was like all the perceived negatives of the Gobert trade but with better PR. We ended up with a ring so all is well, but you can't simultaneously loathe our lack of young talent without looking back at that trade that used up all our assets for the foreseeable future.

It's not only about the lotto picks but you have Aaron Wiggins, Jaylin Williams, and Isiah Joe getting time and they were all picked in the 2nd rd.

Jokic had 64 more first place votes than Shai who was in second. I do not get it at all.

I would never miss a playoff game says a guy who missed a critical finals game for having zero self-control on the basketball court.

Reminds me a tad of Lebron in Cleveland v2. That Lowry/Demar Raps team or IT Celts were the toughest competition Lebron had in that period. I mean it’s impressive he made so many Finals appearances but the competition was pretty rubbish.

Celtics are really good, can’t take that away from them, but simultaneously it sucks that there’s really not another good EC team to push them.
