Speaking of which, can anyone get NBA.com's combine measurements and stuff to work? It seems to default to the 2022 season and this year's draft class isn't even available as an option to select.

Wasn't a big fan even before the combine, but Oso's measurements take him completely off my draft board. He's not an NBA player.

Oso will be a NBA player, no question.

Karaban with Middleton-y measurements tracks.

I have a plan to improve this roster significantly via draft and small pickups of others "trash", who are gems in disguise.

OK

Draft #23Furphy and #34 Cam Christie

Get Vuksevic from the Wizards to replace Brook
Get Vezenkov from the Kings to replace Pat as a backup scorer. (PS both of them speak Greek fluently so with Giannis & Thanasis the bond with the team will come super fast)

Trade Brook + Pat

I feel Christie is the perfect modern tall point guard. I have Hartenstein vibes from him, he has all the fundamentals already polished, grown up as a basketball player from his parents., already shoots great, perfect pickup with either of our picks. I know he has a brother Max who is a Laker. Yeah, go get him for cheap too. Keep Brotherhood vibes in Milwaukee, it is not ideal but it is a way to make players love their city and Org.

I feel Christie has all star potential in 5 years. His potential is higher than Furphy and Oso. Only 18y old , if he fills his nice frame with muscle and gets consistent minutes he can be an all star.
Draft: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic

Christie looks the part. Release is slow but very high. Shot 42% at the rim which is truly alarming and a deal-breaker for me.

Yes, I checked that.
It is not an issue, we have Giannis and Dame attacking the rim all the time.
His rim stats will increase as he gets stronger and starts dunking more. He is just 18, love that kid.

idk where he's expected to go since it seems like traditionally he'd be a lottery pick & I've seen him mocked even in the 2nd round but wonder about Zach Edey as Brook replacement, he's got skills and is more athletic than you'd expect a guy that size. I don't know the prospects like you guys do, just the one I know!

Granted, Brook didn't develop one until like 5 years into the NBA, but Edey is not a huge shooting threat. I'm not sure one can expect Edey to develop that part of his game, which is why he's probably going to go later.

Yeah, I mean are we really gonna fall for the "big guy swishing 3's in an empty gym" thing for the millionth time? Always love whipping out the OG big-man shooting clinic video:

Any trades to get in to the top 5

Was Castle's height an error during the combine? I saw on twitter that people were saying he measured in at 6'2 and his listed height is 6'6. That's gotta be a mix up.

Yeah, looks like it was an error, and his listed numbers right now are Devin Carter’s.
This seems more accurate 6'5.5" without shoes (which puts him near 6'7" in shoes), 6'9" ws, 210 lbs. Excellent size for a combo guard.

If you want a big who can shoot, draft Quinten Post late. 9'4" standing reach, and 44% from 3. ACC all defensive team. Productive college player. Far more agile than Edey.

It's crazy just how big Edey is. Post has respectable size but Edey has 3 inches on his standing reach and over 8 inches on wingspan. Basically a 300 lb Mo Bamba. I think there was something weird going on with his combine athletic testing though cause Edey came out looking pretty good in basically every test for a man his size

He'll have a chance to fulfill the promise of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

I’m always concerned when a prospect’s calling card is his defense and the defensive metrics that generally translate are poor. Think he’s similar to Andre in that he fouls a ton and got away with it in college but will take some time transitioning to the NBA on that end. Definitely has more offensive upside than Jackson though granted it’s not particularly pretty right now.

Feel like in most drafts he’d be a mid-1st type guy but somebody in this class has to be #1.
