Was thinking to myself that Presti is probably going to get Atlanta to pay him to take Capela off their hands.

Brooks 24m expiring and fit is perfect for OKC.

Why would OKC want an old, well past their prime Brook Lopez?

Windhorst looked like he was itching to say something about Giannis going to a different team.

Like a teakettle whose whistle sounds exactly like, "Teams are watching the Giannis situation closely."

Same question applied to Houston last summer.

Big difference is all it would have cost Houston was cap space.

I tried to downplay his greatness by focusing on his defense and lack of volume scoring. He might not be an elite defender but he's much better than I gave him credit for. And he's absolutely an elite scorer.

Lack of volume scoring? Look at what he does in the playoffs. Dude averaged 30.0 PPG in the playoffs last year leading his team to a title.

A series vs a healthy Bucks or Knicks team would’ve been quite an epic. I think they’d handle the Pacers pretty easily. Can’t see them beating Denver.

I really wish the Knicks were healthy because they could out grit those clowns in a 7 game series.

I never saw him as a guy where you can give him the ball and he’s a bucket. I thought teams sent too much help at him. But I was very wrong.

He’s the perfect 1yr project for them. They’re being exposed in this Dallas series for lack of size so that for starters is why they could have interest in Brook. He’s 24m off the books or he can re-up and stay and they get a year to evaluate that. Hes a great stopgap solution that lets them figure out their next big move to make. Doesn’t seem like they’re all that interested in dumping the war chest or they could’ve easily outbid everyone for whatever they wanted at the deadline. Brook would be an overall lesser cost to acquire and fill a major need going into next year.

The world knows what Brook does good and does bad and OKC has Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren to cover the bad.

Clint Capela is a good argument but I’d argue he’s not nearly as seamless of a fit in that lineup as Brook would be.

I’m watching the game on the espn app from some super weird angle with just arena sound, because for some reason, my espn account isn’t enough to watch the game regularly.

Idk if it’s the angle or the no commentary but the lack of effort from the nuggets during that run felt conspiracy level low. I haven’t been to an nba game in years so maybe watching on tv has clouded my perception of the players effort but they looked like they were at shoot around.

When people try to say MPJ isn't a miserable defender just send them that clip on repeat.

Impressive fight back from Minny today. A lesser squad might’ve been broken from the last three games.

Minny a bit lazy and complacent here. Game is not over yet.

Edit: it’s over

Denver got it to 9-2 at the start and then Minny have straight up kicked their ass since.
