Man, I have no idea... Assume it someone from the 80s/early 90s?

Dwayne Johnson. He was a mega-get for Marquette back in the early 80's. I think was a first team Street and Smith's guy in the HS Rankings. He, Mandy Johnson and Marc Marotta made up the recruiting class that was supposed to put them back on the map.

Before Prince blew up in 1984 he played Mecca a couple times. Dwayne's arrest was a big "scandal" at the time. And of course 98% of the city asked "who is Prince?" as Prince was somewhat an unknown artist back then. I remember as a kid it being a big local controversy on sports talk radio because Dwayne wasn't fulfilling his potential to lead MU back to the promised land. So the "Prince" thing went on for months.

I never fully comprehended that Prince was human. He seemed more of a sprite than a terrestrial being. Miles called him the modern-day Duke Ellington and I am not one to argue the point. One of the last unifying pop megastars of Casey Kasem's AT40 halcyon days. Baffled and delighted that he was a lifelong Minnesotan.

One of the few Beatles songs I actually like and this was wonderfully done. It's actually incredible how good that is.

I will always remember getting laid my first time while the girl had on Prince, who she was in love with.

Prior to that i wasn't much of a Prince fan given my group of guy friends were into stuff like Slayer, Misfits, GBH, and basically just harder stuff. Listening to him a lot though via that girl, i became a big fan of his, but being a self-conscious 14-15 year old teen, i didn't want any of my punker friends to know. Seems so silly now in retrospect. :D

Haven't listened to him in quite awhile though, may have to later for old times sake.

I thought this was a fairly concise idea of who the world lost yesterday. Wanted to share it.

As an on-again off-again guitarist for the last 35 years, let me just confirm how incredibly stupid that solo is. There is not a twang or missed note in it. I've seen that a bunch of times and I'm still in awe of it. His work in the 20th+ fret was the best of anyone who ever played. I honestly think it was because his hands/fingers were so small. Which makes playing the guitar more difficult in general ironically.

Saw Prince four times over the years. The third time i saw him (1999ish) he played 11 instruments on stage including the God**** trombone. This is probably the first and last time I've ever been truly sad at the passing of an entertainment figure. And only because I don't get to go see him play live again. The best musician I have ever seen live and I've seen pretty much all of them.

RIP. You will be sorely missed.

On June 12, Milwaukee fans may get the chance to hear tracks from the anticipated "Tha Carter V" live, when Lil Wayne headlines the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. It'll be his first Milwaukee concert since playing the Marcus Amphitheater in 2011.

He'll be joined by Jeezy — the veteran rapper behind "Soul Survivor," "R.I.P" and last year's "Church in these Streets" album — and O.T. Genasis, the newcomer with a hit, "CoCo," under his belt and a debut album on the way.

Give this a try even if you're not a fan of the genre. It's a special performance.

I feel like the last several years I've been much more disappointed in some releases than I ever have been...but man, I will probably be flamed by other Radiohead fans that must find every album as revolutionary - they've lost me.

After the first track, I would describe this album as basically 10 straight versions of the first 2 minutes of "How to Disappear Completely" except they decide to not give you the payoff at the end of the song. That might even be giving it too much credit. Jonny Greenwood is now a composer and creates cool violin arrangements...cool...can we get some real, actual songs with them?

EDIT: OK, ****. The finally recorded version of "True Love Waits" is kind of good.
