I believe they said there would be a balance patch on day 1, so maybe minion builds will be better already. I don't know what I'll play yet. I liked Barbarian in the beta.

I played rogue in alpha and didn't particularly care for the ranged skills (though daggers were cool); I heard it was better in beta, but still a little hesitant. I'll probably end up starting sorc then which is my ARPG wheelhouse, but I'm super tempted to start druid. Might be a game time decision.

Try the druid. It is pretty satisfying.

FWIW, I found this one much more informative without being overly detailed (e.g. diving into literally every skill node) or telling you how to play. Mainly, I thought the explanation of each class' ultimates and unique mechanics was super helpful.

;t=494s

And I think you guys convinced me to start Druid. Though I may flip-flop.

That helped a lot, thanks.

Now I'm a bit torn. I think I'm gonna go rouge my second time around once I have a handle on the mechanics, and start with the sorcerer. I just think visually the sorcerer looks rad and I like the all-around qualities.

I think my favorite class mechanic looks like barb, but I don't want to start barb...it's just not my wheelhouse.

I still don't know what to do  I keep waffling.

Never played a Telltale game, but I think I'll be playing this.

I loved Drummer/Kara Gee.

I tried the telltale Borderlands game and just couldn't really get into it. It was basically a choose your own adventure motion comic.

A little shocked to be playing right away without a hitch.

I enjoyed the one Batman one I played. Definitely more of a motion comic like the other poster said. You basically just make decisions and watch it play out.

Yup, super smooth launch so far. I ended up rolling sorc. I'm really into these unique class mechanics and I liked sorc's more than druid's, so that was my deciding factor for my first character.

Just in Kyovishad; nothing I haven't seen before yet. But I am using different skills. Got Arc Lash and Ice Shards so far. Digging it.

Similar here. I went Arc Lash and Chain Lightning.

Quick initial thoughts:

- I SUPER don't like coming upon a boss fight and be told that I can't join.
- If we're gonna have an open world version I need to at least be able to have a quest screen with objectives and info. I'm completely lost as of now
- I hate how they went back to the Diablo 2 style inventory. It's absolute trash
- The game is way too easy on World Tier 2 and I wish I could change it now instead of having to complete the campaign
- I don't want to see randos popping into my game. I assume there's a way to turn it off and I have to figure it out.

What do you mean by Diablo 2 style inventory? This seems 3 to me all the way. Everything is the same size, right?

Haven’t encountered the rest of what you laid out. I’m loving it so far, just a little overwhelmed at how large the world is. So many quests and so many areas, so many things to do. My ARPG brain tells me to get to the end game ASAP, and it seems like a massive amount of campaign content. That’s not a bad thing, I just haven’t adjusted yet or figured out what’s important.

I’m on PC but I was able to open the map and find quests/objectives on pop-out menu on the right side.

Sorry to take a side step from Diablo but do any of you have recommendations on a good mechanical keyboard? I'll need a number pad for work (although I don't think I mind if it's detached). Not necessarily looking for something I need to spend a ton of time modding, but would at least like something hot swappable. Thanks!

Yea there is tons to do. I’m really taking my time this first play through and think I’ll just explore.
