Re: Wisconsin Herd Thread
The Herd were playing super selfish hero ball in front of a few Bucks executives tonight, and were heading for their 1st loss, down 9 with 5 minutes to play. Nwora was sitting on 4 points...
Herd win by 8, Nwora finished with 22! Watch all the way to the end kids.
Rayjon Tucker had the most ridiculous put back slam off a missed free throw as I've ever seen.

Mamu was 5-7 from 3 and had a bunch of blocks.

Cut Semi, sign Jemerrio. Dude can not shoot but everything he does do is very good.

I love Jemerrio. He plays winning bball. I'd love for him to take Semi's place. I've been to many Herd games, although not this season, and he is underrated.

If he could just hit the corner 3 he'd be perfect.

I still strongly believe he'd work out even without it. Feel is off the charts. Rebounding is right at the top.

He flat out gets the ball and makes plays. IMO he's the best role-player in the G League and it's not close. And he has been for years! Why doesn't he get a call up? Infatuation with shooting is hiding a really good player.
Better overall player than Giorgos, Mamu, Semi, Hood, Nwora, and Thanasis.

Honestly he doesn't not play like Manu.

Is there a way to watch the whole game somewhere online? My Delorean is in the shop otherwise I wouldn't ask.

Re: Wisconsin Herd Thread
They basically erased a double-digit deficit in the last 6 minutes of the 4th once they started running the offense through Mamu. Bringing the ball up, operating at the top of the key, dribble hand-offs with Nwora, pick & pop, cutting off-ball. The man just knows how to move the rock and create open shots.
Embrace the Mamu.
Embrace the Mamu.

Re: Wisconsin Herd Thread
I think Gabriel's earned a shot at the Bucks roster. He's probably a better player than Thanasis, but unfortunately for him - he doesn't have a brother named Giannis. In today's NBA, he's no longer an under-sized PF. He hits the boards, plays defense, and can hit the 3.
Wigginton's a terrific 3 point shooter off the dribble - just don't know if there's enough to his game or enough size to make it in the NBA. Waters is a better all-around player but even smaller. Tucker and Jones strike me as winners who don't fit any NBA archetype.

At what point does the NBA need to let teams pluck guys from their G-league affiliates as a temporary measure until they can get their **** together with COVID protocols? They're barely able to field 6-7 man rosters right now.

Re: Wisconsin Herd Thread
Haven't seen a minute of Herd this year (or any other tbh), but yeah teams should be able to sign at least 1 player with a 10-day contract for each player who is out with Covid. This can be a good showcase for these guys, with a lot of teams fielding 7 or 8 players out there

Well, Gabiel's getting a 10 day contract with Brooklyn - of all teams. Grats to him - I think he'll end up sticking.
