Yea. That's why I think he's a nice second round novelty but not really a guy who's going to be getting minutes in the playoffs.

Hope that scoring comes around, though. Bucks would have a player.

I don't see the issue with him offensively. He's a better offensive player than Pat, and he's clearly vastly superior defensively.

I don't think Pat's good right now either.

Yeah the defensive effort tonight is beyond a joke. We are letting scrub teams score 60 on us in a half. We're not stopping anyone on that end.

It really doesn't have anything to do with effort. The defensive philosophy is a joke.

Only way we come close to losing this is if we genuinely just don't try. We gotta respect the game and I hope Griff reminds them of that. Second quarter was pretty lackadaisical.

Okay. So why do you think he's a "novelty?"

Need to embrace the new league. All scoring, all the time.

I’m curious what you think they should do on defense?

Because teams will not guard him, even in the corner.

They won't close out on him.

They will just play 5 on 4 and dare him to come into the lane.

If they dont guard him in the corner, it should be easy to feed him and get wide open 3 looks. that's a good thing. not like Pat can't shoot wide open corner threes.

Like I said, I think we tend to get overly excited about young guys here. Jackson in particular because he flashes cool abilities we don't see much of.

But I'm also not so firm in that assessment that I couldn't (pretty easily) be convinced I'm wrong.

I still can't get over it. Don't other teams and RSNs have broadcast staff who were longtime members of the team if they're former players? Novak's corpse was here two years, and other than that he went to Marquette and railed against signage in Whitefish Bay. I don't get it.

Pat, Payne, Brook, and Khris missing ALL the wide open threes in the 2nd, will make the starters play like 12 more minutes than they should.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

They could start with not pressing the ball 30 feet from the basket.
