Thats interesting...

Yeah, that's a really weird phrasing, also, making it sound like a fallback. Those guys don't grow on trees. Makes me think they're gearing up to trade their kids for Markkanen.

i was thinking Brook for Wiggins, but yeah that probably makes more sense

Brook for Wiggins and a 1st, no one is talking that Wiggins contract for free. Then Wiggins is rerouted with the pick and our Portland 2nd for Jeremi Grant.

Now who can we get as a stop gap center? We don't need anyone awesome, as Giannis will be the center when it matters, and we finally have the forward in Grant that can optimize Giannis at center lineups.

I assumed Knicks were considering Randle.

I'm not trading Lopez for him unless there is another team involved and we get back something better. Wiggins played great for one year, got his money and is coasting.

“Dejounte Murray is the player that they’re engaged around the league with. And they’ve talked to the Lakers, they’ve exchanged some ideas on a potential trade. But they’re engaged with a lot of teams.

“They gave up a lot for Dejounte Murray: two of their own first-round picks, a pick swap, and a third first-round pick that they had control of. They want to get some value back for him."

Not sure we have enough.

Lmao at the "Giannis needs to change" when he has shown mostly awesome decision making and shot selection than he has since 2022 minimum, or maybe ever. He started the season slow, for his standards, but has since been incredible (again).

Im coming across as combative a bit maybe since the Jokic fanatics seem convinced that somehow Gianni's peaked and he's descending when he's been unbelievably efficient.

Dame has also started quite sluggish for his standards and has looked flat when the ball is no in his hands. Hopefully he starts to ramp up.

Who would be better off the bench, Rolo or Biyombo?

Wolves need a shooter. They have an open roster spot. Let's reunite them with an old friend.

Wolves in: Malik Beasley
Wolves out: 2024 -2nd, 2030 -2nd

Jazz in: Chris Livingston, 2024 2nd via Wolves
Jazz out: Kris Dunn

Bucks in: Kris Dunn, 2030 -2nd via Wolves
Bucks out: Malik Beasley, Chris Livingston

Clips want a tweener big man. Portis could probably get you PJ and something else.

Kelly Olynyk is going to bring back a few picks for Utah. That is the big everyone will go after out of Utah. The only way I see Lauri leaving is if he is traded for D. Murray.

That something else better be pretty damn good since PJ **** sucks and makes too much money to even get bought out because otherwise he’d be available for free. They gotta pay to get rid of that contract, 1ppg 3rpg 30% shooting not gonna do it. Other than his season doing roids in Miami he’s been cooked for years.

What’s Tony Snell up to? At least he can shoot

Clippers can trade their 2030 first.

Idk whether they or the Bucks would send that out to swap Bobby for PJ.

Question is if that first could round out a package to net us someone like Caruso.

Why in the heck! Would we trade BP for PJ?
You guys are lost on that one.

I actually wanted to respond to your trade board idea with OKC and Mem, but swapping Mem with CHI and getting your thoughts.

Mke: Caruso, jaylin Williams, Kenrich Williams

Spoiler:
We get an elite perimeter defender in Caruso, a small ball 4 in Kenrich, and a younger more mobile big in jaylin.

Okc: Patrick williams, Bobby

Spoiler:
OKC gets two players who would fit alongside Chet. PW is a combo forward, and Bobby a combo big. This gives them solid perimeter spacing to add to their front court, and helps them make a push this year with better fitting pieces while still having an eye for the future.

Chi: giddey, marjon, pat, ‘24 Hou 1st, ‘25 PHI 1st, ‘24 Por 2nd

Spoiler:
Chi cashes out. They get two young players, two firsts, and a high second.

PJ hasn't played a minute since November and looked bad in the games he did play. Lue is highly regarded by many on our board. When the Clippers struggled early on there was a lot of "maybe he'll get fired and we can hire him!". And Lue won't play PJ even in garbage time. AND PJ has an $11 million player option next year. Easy pass. Even if he's bought out there's no way he's waiving that option. :noway:
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Kind of surprised that Herring and Lowe both left Dame off of their all-star rosters at this point in time.

I think both had Mitchell and Maxey ahead of him, and I don't think either had Dame as the first replacement guy. Herring even went so far as to say Rozier might have an equal argument to Dame.

Dame's numbers are down for his standards but they're basically identical to Maxey, who is playing 2 more minutes a game and only averaging one more point.

OKC doesn't need to send out actual talent, they can just deal Bertans and any of their hundreds of picks to acquire anyone they want.

I know reports say everyone except for Curry is available but would they trade Green?

Would Green and Payton II for B./R. Lopez, Beauchamp, and Payne work for both teams?
