Yeah, i dont think this is like a freshman year dekker thing where frankly Bo was a bit unreasonable, but Essegian needs to be better to earn PT.

While Essegian is massively struggling, this team is top 10 if he ever starts draining 3's again and plays average defense.

I think the difference is that Gilmore is essentially the primary backup at the 4 and may be important when Winter's lack of defense won't cut it.

With Essegian, there are other options to take most of the minutes. But they still play roughly the same amount.

Also RIP Walt Mcgrory.

The tweak I would make is that you don't need two bigs out there at all times in today's basketball. Gilmore can be nixed and have Storr be the 2nd biggest guy out there. In today's basketball that's totally normal. For Gard though, not an option. Would rather play 4 vs 5 on O. In general things have improved this year, good to see, well on track to make the tournament. But push comes to shove the O is gonna be the letdown like always and I'm on the side to sacrifice some D to get some shooting.

Interesting ranking of the top 25 by age.

Among the top 25, the Badgers are one of the youngest teams.

How often do we catch a pass wide open under the rim and then instead of going right up, we gather, give the defense time to recover, and then get stoned?

I feel like that's happened dozens of times this year and it's so frustrating.
