I was thinking Chucky may try that off the backboard to Storr as he went down the court but ended up being quite risky since the defender ended up being right there still.

2-0 in conference with those wins over Izzo and McCaffrey is satisfying.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

MSU started slow and is going to be solid I think, Iowa isn't awful...but for the first time in a while, the Big Ten as a whole is legitimately down. If they stay healthy and focused, hopefully we'll see a fairly lopsided record.

I know the Big Ten has been "overrated" given tournament results the past few years, but there may only be 5-6 teams in from the conference this year.

It was nice to get the road MSU game out of the way early.

Generally light slate of games coming up too where they could really fluff their record and have a huge cushion. Of course, this teem isn't good enough where any game is a 'gimme', but the opportunity is there for a 10-0 start with something like 8-2 being very very feasible.

Things to note, they do have to play Purdue twice. But ILL only once.

Illinois is probably still a very good team, but Shannon probably won't be back. Purdue should absolutely cruise.

I'm fully prepared to try to just log off to not put myself through the hell that will come up when this team inevitably shoots 20% in the round of 32 and it ends, but dare I say there is a higher ceiling right now? Chucky and Klesmit are good 3P shooters that other than Max in the Marquette game have been terrible shooters this year. I'll include Storr in there but he's taking some ugly 3s so his 30% isn't a huge surprise. And Essegian, but the issues have been discussed at length here.

Yeah, this game's been a blast. We're hitting almost everything, but if that ever stops, Nebraska is still in range for a comeback with how they've been shooting. Tominaga is either on or he isn't - no in between - and he looks on today.

Well, offense doesn't seem to be much of an issue this year

Great performance. Interesting that Essegian not only played, but early and with multiple 3s. Gard told Katz that he played better in practice and it was as simple as that.

At this point I still feel like he ends up transferring, but as for this season, if he can finally hit shots off the bench this offense could be lethal.

Also, we haven't scored under 70 since November.

Man, Gard looked happy in that Katz interview.

Team is fun to watch. Lacking that high-end floor tilter type offensive player that opens everything up, but everyone can put the ball in the hoop this year. Nebraska kept it closer than it should have been by hitting some contested 3s that had no business dropping.

Like I said a few weeks ago, this team is a top 10 team with CE3 cooking. They need his offense, plain and simple. You can stop playing Gilmore and the midget from Green Bay.

I think this team has a decent shot at another FF run. Consistent and Solid all around. Especially if Essegian is knocking down shots.

I'm all for Gilmore being pushed out of the rotation. Mcgee has been pretty good as a low minute backup though.

It's another fun year, maybe two in a row if Storr stays next year...just going to try to enjoy this before everyone wants to burn the KC down somewhere in the range of March 17 or whatever.

Maybe Storr hits another gear as the season goes along or he doesn't have a desire to play another year in college no matter what, but to me he seems like a perfect candidate to get a boatload of NIL money and come back for one more year.

I agree. It's not like he jumps out to me as a sure-fire first round pick or something, but it just seems like the chatter is that is his goal.

I don't think he's a good enough shooter, to be honest.
