Hope Doc was watching. Very nice win.

Great win. Glad we're on our way back to being a serious basketball team on both ends. Still need Horst to make that Bobby and/or Pat trade for a defensive wing though.

Great ball movement, chemistry much better. Everyone looked relaxed and natural. Fun game. Our D still sucks on perimeter and POAABucksFan wrote:Missed the game, howd we look

I had almost started to pine for the low expectation Redd years with how unwatchable this squad was with Griff. I don't care if they don't win the title just keep playing ball that's fun to watch.

Offense closed it out well.. good ball movement and PnR action.. that let Dame be the QB and choose to keep, drop or skip pass based on how the D is leaning

Better. Not amazing but solid. Some smarter pick-and-roll defense without over-helping or idiotic 30-ft trapping. Cavs made some runs but there was more of a concerted effort to secure the rebound and be better in transition defense.

When it was Giannis/Portis on the floor together it was fairly clear Giannis was playing the 5. Giannis even got moved on to Allen late as well. Interesting for that to happen the first game after the coach was fired.

Today shows why I think we'll be largely fine with Doc. We had baseline competent NBA coaching out there today and the team looked a lot better. Doc doesn't need to be spectacular. Just needs to get the team doing the basics well and let the talent shine.

Preparations for a trade? Or integrate Crowder and settle into a playoff-like rotation?

That Dame smile at the end of the game had me feeling like things were going to be okay.

I couldn't believe my eyes. The body language was so different today that it's like they had been possessed all this time by demons and today, an excorcist came to town to free them all. I don't hate AG, it's possible that even the players were partially to blame not just him, but man, it was like a curse has been lifting today. I don't know what happens next, maybe Doc is another curse, but i don't remember enjoying so much a Bucks game since last season.
We're back (hopefully)

If the last 2 Cavs games have taught us anything, it’s that
Giannis + No Griff > Griff + No Giannis
Otherwise, we really wouldn’t have known for sure

The team hasn't looked that good in over a month.
I want to read the deep dive Nehm piece into how this all happened. How the Bucks went about a coach search in a Finals or bust year with their megastar on the doorstep of FA, and they landed on a guy who immediately became the worst coach in the league by some margin, ran his top assistant out, and alienated the entire lock room by game 43. Just incredible.

I guess Prunty saw enough of them in practice. AJJ is fun to watch, but floor balance without him was exceptional.
