Beasley, Bobby & Dame shot terribly. Of course Bobby hit crucial 3s but that was it.

I think only the bucks could trade for a guy like dame right at the point where he’s no longer dame

Better team won. Still i think that the only Eastern team that can beat them in the finals is Bucks. Nuggets will obliterate Celtics/Heat/Sixers etc. Not us, there will be blood in this matchup. Problem is, i don't see right now Bucks as favorites to come out of the East.
In any case, i am more hopeful right now than i was before. Biggest concern is not Rivers. But Dame. If he finds his rhythm, all good.

Still need someone who can actually defend on ball, but the D already looks miles better. The offense clunked up after the first, and those turnovers in the 3rd were a killer.

For a second I got excited and thought Crowder was going to be part of the finishing lineup. Maybe next time.

I think we're underrating his personal turmoil. And its the eve of returning to Portland as a Buck.

Re: PG Denver: Bench? What Bench?
This game just really highlighted Bobby’s issues against good physical teams.
He can’t get to his spots, he’s never gonna get a call because he doesn’t actually play with any force, and then he starts to shy away from taking the open looks that do come his way.
Him passing up open corner threes just to do a methodical backdown is bad ball, man.
Then on the flip side, he doesn’t provide defensive value. He can rebound, and that’s his best contribution, but man does he shrink against tough defenses.

Crowder is looking solid.
Really hope something is done at the deadline to bring some athleticism and hustle.

Is Dame like a slower trey young? Would like to see them get him more open midrange. seems like his best shot

Doc got a good look at the good and the bad tonight. Let's see what he does about it.

Those Dame turnovers were so unnecesary.

Murray would be nice, but som people would rather roll with Bobby and Pat. Again at the end of games when down you cant hide both Dame and Beas on D.

I don’t even think it’s close tbh. More athletic, better defender, equal shooting.

The Khris ones were pretty nice though.

Re: PG Denver: Bench? What Bench?
Last post about Dame for the night. The reason I don't think he's a great fit is, he doesn't seem to be good at spot up shooting, and also his lack of speed to consistently get past the defender on the drive

I think the team overall looked better. I can't imagine how bad they would've lost with AG coaching.
