Nah. Crowder at the 4 isn't the answer. Middleton at the 4 is.

Don't think Doc is creative enough to do it though.

I'm 100% in favor of closing with Giannis at the 5 and Khris at the 4. Just go ahead and try to outscore teams. The perimeter defense isn't stopping anyone anyways.

The "old" stuff is so corny to me. Could we benefit from getting more athletic? Yeah sure. This team is totally coasting and either thinks they're good enough come playoff time or just don't really give a ****. I don't think they're good enough to flip a switch but would love to be proven wrong. This stretch and the rest of the regular season gives me basically zero useful data on how to predict what happens in the playoffs so I'm checking out until then and hoping to be pleasantly surprised while keep my optimism at bay. imo

I'm gonna be fresh for a deep playoff run while the rest of the board has dead fingers.

Everyone knows that the Bucks have a top heavy roster.

No one would expect great things from a Bucks team missing Lillard and Middleton, with Connaughton starting at PG because the backup PG is also out.

Of course it would not take "great things" to beat a downtrodden Wizards or a decimated Grizzlies.

I'll second this. Dame/Pat/Khris/Giannis and either Beas or Bev at the 2 might be this team's best small-ball lineup. Problem is, it's tough to find enough of a meaningful sample size. 4-man combos of Dame/Beas/Khris/Giannis are +15.2. Dame/Beas/Pat/Giannis groupings are +24.0. They've actually been pretty awesome this season with Giannis-at-Center lineups (+12.3 net-rating), but again, small sample:

Our only hope at this point is that Dame goes nuclear during the playoffs, Giannis is Giannis, and the rest of the guys are so wide open that they just rain 3's. What does playoff Dame look like? Does he look like playoff Jimmy Butler? I'm going with that.

Not too late for Horst to show up at Bud's doorstep with a bouquet of flowers, a gift basket and a signed "I was wrong and I am sorry. Can you ever forgive me?" card.

At this point "These games don't matter" is all we have left. I'm jumping on board.

I'm the same, except opposite. The OTA games are the only ones I've watched. However, the result is identical. :D

just want the playoffs to start. sick of the team coming out looking like trash. get a couple wins, get dame healthy, get the big three some more PT and focus on making a run.

Dame needing to go "nuclear" for an entire playoff run is a bit hyperbolic though. Dude doesn't need to be prime Steph and carry the team. He just needs to give you an efficient 25-30 while avoiding those overlapping cold stretches the same time as Khris. The whole "we're 17-2 when Dame scores 30" thing may be simplistic, but that plus our record when he shoots 48% or better or whatever, shows how unstoppable the offense is when both those guys are hitting shots.

It is pretty simple. You know Giannis is going to get 30 on good efficiency pretty much every game. If you have a 2nd guy doing that, suddenly you have 60-70 points on good efficiency where you are going to wins games. Just look at our recent playoff losses where its basically Giannis starts off hot in the 1st half so he gets the wall but treatment. Then no one can hit a shot so Giannis forces it in the fourth.

If we had avoid the 12-25% from 3 type games with Giannis just doing his normal playoff routine, we would've won the Celtics series and we would've won the Heat series. (problem is I see a lot of bricks coming from Beas, Bev and others in a few weeks)

Scottie Pippen said that was the best advice Michael Jordan ever gave him.

No coincidence that the Bulls would win 6 championships in 8 years not long after this.

35 years later Michael Jordan would give this same advice to his son....unfortunately for Scottie Pippen.
