Dame was great to watch tonight. Forced up a few early, as he does, and used it to leverage his way into the paint and then that opened the rest up for him. Gunna need that guy.

Agree. He clearly had a scout to attack Banchero's right hand, and to force him to shoot mid range. It worked, we got a bunch of steals, and he missed a bunch of shots. It set the tone.

First thing I thought of when I saw the Jrue extension news. PatBev will give you 75% of what Jrue does at 20% the cost, and I personally like his defense better.

So I think we're all but locked into the 2/3 seed unless we lose both remaining games and the Cavs/Knicks win all their remaining games (in which case we'd drop to 4th).

Is the lowest we can drop a 4th seed?

Yes. And we have the tiebreaker with the Knicks

The entire FF is excited about thanasis getting into the game, Washington gets a fast break and thanasis is open waiting near a hoop, but gets ignored as tyty misses the layup and gets fouled.

Talk about not reading the room, everyone was ready for a thunderous thanasis dunk. Such a letdown, the final point of the game would have been awesome. :nonono:

Also in garbage time bucks were flirting with 120-104, missed opportunity.

Pat Bev turning into a better shooting Josh Hart is nice. They shooters can always shoot but the past few years Bev has been down bad. These past two games look more like Clipper Bev.

I always like a win but they need to get Green and Beasley shooting fixed before the playoffs. Maybe some rest will help them both. Beasley more so than Green. I think they need to run some curls when he comes off the bench to get him some layups and maybe that can prime his shooting. He would still be behind Bev and Green. Decrease or void Pat C's minutes.

Actually, I believe that was Livingston not TyTy on that play.

Stinks that Green rolled a ankle. I hope it's nothing, and he's back for OKC.

Beasley is not a playoff caliber defender, so no need to get his shooting right. Just push him aside.

Doc on Bobby:

He's been fantastic," Rivers said. "Every night he gives us something.

"Tonight it was obviously his scoring. And that's what people look at. But I thought he was more important defensively with his hands and his rebounding. I thought that was more important than his scoring."

Over the course of my Bucks and NBA fandom, I don't think a team matches up with that sentiment more. If this team plays well, they can beat anyone. They hold their own destiny in their hands. Yesterday's win was an encouraging one. The wins against the Magic and Celtics have been good palate cleansers. Hopefully they keep it up throughout this last stretch. Team confidence needs to grow for this upcoming first round, regardless of the matchup.
