I've listened to his preaching for four years. Four years resulting in under .500 play. I've listened enough.

Does anyone else not care how "good" your last practice was?

I think that is more coaching to your personnel than anything though. The Bucks don't have the players to be great defensively, they have average athletes overall, so with above average effort they should be able to get to average defensively.

The main issue this year has been that our offense has dropped off while our defense has improved barely at all. Our offense has sucked all year.

I've also had enough about how great our practices are. Ever think that's because we're playing against ourselves? Our D probably looks a hell of a lot better because we suck offensively as a team.

Wow, Redd ran out at Bell and he missed a shot. No ****, it's freaking charlie bell.

Thats the problem. We only aspire to being average defensively.

It's like they beg the players

"Can you please just be average? Thats all we're asking you to do"

.....and they can't even do it

:banghead:

You can't go from being an awful defensive team to being a great defensive team. One step at a time. I would LOVE to have an average defensive team right now.

We're probably the most impressive practice team in the league.

"Oh, we may have gotten blown out, but wait until you hear about PRACTICE yesterday!"

Brian James is doing a decent job.....here's what I've gotten:

a) Blame Bogut for his lack of touches and the lack of repost. Said Andrew doesn't want it bad enough down there and his teammates don't trust him.

b) They have to play zone because they are getting killed on "screen/roll" plays (Hello Mo Williams) when they go man to man.

c) Other guys on D won't rotate fast enough.....

I do understand that.

But just something about hearing "we just want to be average"

Aspire for greatness

Be satisfied with averageness

I'm listening to this for the first time this year, and it seems to be a waste of time. Just a bunch of fluff, even if I do understand why it's necessary for the coach to try and stay positive. I was hoping to hear something new, but instead I'm hearing about how hard everyone works in practice.

d) We've been having great practices all year

e) "The team is coming around" after losing by 45 to Detroit and barely beating a horrible Miami team.

This whole show was about how great we play in practice and how late everyone stays to work on their game. Didn't even touch on Redd being benched in the 4th. I called to talk about it, but they said no.

Steger......this guy can't say anything....we can't expect anything from this.....I think his putting it on Andrew for lack of touches in the post was big enough news...

We are spoiled from Larry Harris two years ago telling us who he'd like to deal before the deals even occurred....no one gets that :)

I know, but if that's how it's going to come off (we're playing well....3 days after getting humiliated) just use the segment for Sparky and fans to talk Bucks basketball. Take as many callers as you can. Make it like a post game show, but instead of starting at 9 at the earliest a 6 pm start time would get more of us posting and debating.

Listening to the accents on this show especially from the callers is the highlight of the show for me
