Ok Giannis is good and is having a great year, but something bothers me. Why does he not block more shots? being a 6'11 athletic freak who gives effort on defense you would expect he would be one of the league leaders in blocks, instead he only blocks 1 shot per game trailing guards like Caruso and White even a midget like FVV has 0.9 bpg

I finally watched his documentary.

I lost track of how many times I cried. What an emotional ride. Giannis is the greatest WI sports icon of all time.

I made the mistake of reading comments on a random Facebook post. Almost no one mentioned Giannis as a top 2 player, some ranked him 5th after Jokic, Luka, Embiid, SGA, and some didn't have him in their top 5 at all... and at least one didn't have him in their top 10.

Also chuckled at someone's reasoning for Giannis being left out: He fired a 30-13 coach for a worse one, so that needs to factor in.

Sure, who cares, but it's crazy how media narratives and recency bias shape peoples' opinions.

None of my business but fascinating nonetheless. For someone as obsessed with family as Giannis is, Francis seems to be a footnote.

When Francis put out an album Giannis was promoting it pretty heavily. If he didn't care about him, they'd never even try to contact him. He can't help that his parents had to leave him behind in Nigeria & they didn't grow up together.
