LUKE23 wrote:Raw numbers are irrelevant without talking about minutes and scoring efficiency. If Bogut is only scoring 13 ppg but is doing so at 55%+ rate, then I'm fine. That is better than him scoring 15 ppg at 50%, for example. Rebounding will depend on how many minutes he plays, but I expect him to be very good there as always.
I dont know where this 15 ppg comes from...he should be up near 20ppg!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what you all are talking about. You always soft toss certain players and do not place a demand on who you are bias about. 15pts with Jennings is nothing! I want to see him average 20.2 atleast on this team!
But he doesnt have it in him...and so if you trade anybody it is him if he can bring you back anything like a Stoudamire or Bosh packaged with a few more players.
You need a top flight scorer on this team up front. 15 my foot he should average atleast 8pts more.

So in other words...
Hammond pretended like sessions was an UFA, and just like 28 other teams....

Not really. Hammond wanted to re-sign Sessions. He made Sessions an offer. Sessions rejected it and took a similar offer from another team. He then stressed to the Bucks how much he did not want to return so Hammond let him go. Whether that was the right decision will be determined over time.

As far as Delfino, he is a good 3-point shooter but I struggle to see how anyone who struggles to make 40 percent of their shots can be classified as anything other than a poor shooter. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned but when you shoot 40% from the floor, I really would prefer you didn't shoot since the percentages strongly indicate you're going to miss a lot.

Well in Russia (haha) last year Delfino shot 45.5% in league play and 44.6% in Eurocup on 2 ptrs. He shot 38.7% and 41.7% on 3s. In league play he hit 43-111 3s in 26 games. That's 4 1/4 attempts per game in 23 minutes a game. 50-110 on 2s. He would be among leaders in 3 pt attempts per minute if he continued that play here.

If he shoots 46% from the floor that will be a significant change from his past production. I hope it happens but history strongly suggests it won't.

Once Hammond signed Warrick, there was less money available for Sessions. Hammond said that he did not want to be kept waiting by Sessions while free agents were being signed. Hammond made it clear that it was not just about interest in Sessions, but also about timing, because time is of the essence during the free agent signing period.

so in other words.... hammond treated sessions like an UFA.

as a free agent....we wanted him, but were interested in others. we werent going to wait to see what we would have to match, we signed another guy instead. how the hell did we treat ramon like a typical RFA situation?

In other words, Hammond wanted to re-sign Sessions but Sessions made it clear he didn't want to play for the Bucks.

and allowing him to dictate that to us, and not signing him anyway.... we ultimately ignored the fact that he was restricted.

I think one could accuse Hammond of that if one was so inclined.

not to keep riding a dead horse... but i would go so far as to say that if ramon HAD BEEN an UFA, he would have never made it in our radar to begin with. he would have been nate robinson part 2 for all we cared.

If Sessions was a UFA he would have signed a while ago for more than $4M per year, and also not with the Bucks.

my mom used to say that all the time. She's older than me , so you can guess how old that expression is. it's older than the hills. then again, you don't have hills in milwaukee except on those water bottles of that water that's made in Watertown. what better place to make bottled water with a moutain on the bottle than Watertown - home of the Rock river. fresh bottled water - straight from the tap of the rock ........ river. yum yum. makes me like Coke even better.

then there's you keep driving it into the ground. that's a good one to use when planting tulips.

then there's the old phrase we used to use yell at girls. hey dream boat! not you, shipwreck.

ah the old phrases.... what goes around comes around........

S-U-C-C-E-S-S that's the way you spell success. Even today's cheers copy those of the 50's and 60's.

i see plaid bermuda shorts are back in fashion. How many more years before leisure suits make a comeback?

can Spam be making a comeback as well as an alternative to meat? As prince fielder would say: i' m a vegetarian- i only eat Spam.

This guy likes to ride dead horses.

Sounds like something Twirly would do, to be honest. Ride his dead horse to the strip mall and sell tic-tacs to underage children.
