For all the crap they get for their perimeter defense, our top 2 players in net rating on the court are Dame (+7.5) and Beas (+7.4). They're also the worst off court ratings with Dame at -5.0 and Beas at -3.7. Giannis is at +6.6 and -3.1 respectively. Think the bigger problem is absolutely no one on our Bench has been a positive except for Bobby and AJ. This could bode well for us in the playoffs with a tighter rotation except, despite what he has repeatedly said publicly, Doc refuses to give AJ consistent minutes over Pat.

Those Giannis on/offs hold up alright considering how bad the bench lineups with him are. Crazy how much we’ve seen lineups used that purposely take away the advantages of your best player.

Using advanced lineups with Giannis in them is exactly him holding everyone's head above water... Not sure what that proves when Beasley is visibly getting beat on the perimeter each night and now his shooting has drastically dipped. If the guy you brought in to make 3's is shooting damn near 30% heading into the playoffs, there's a problem. BuT hE'S gOoD aT CoRner Threeess.

Uh, you might wanna actually check the numbers. The team's most used 3-man lineup is Dame/Brook/Beas with a +10.2 net-rating. You have to scroll all the way down to the 8th and 9th most used 2-man lineups with Beas to find a negative combo (Beverly, then AJJ). Only meaningful 5-man lineup without Giannis (93 minutes) includes Beas and is a +22.2 net-rating, but "sample size" and all.

The last 15 games Beas has been a bucket of ass. He fills up the bottom of this list.

We had Laker fans come on here and talk about how he would be lights out for two weeks (or longer) then ice cold for two weeks (or longer). I get it that most jump shooters are streaky but Beasley is an extreme case. When he is hot it is fun, when he is cold it is frustrating. When he was on fire for a large period of the season I mentioned this and said "Remember these times when he gets cold" and I was called a Beasley hater. I loved the signing and still think he can be a key piece to this postseason.

Has kinda been a feature since like 2017 (or the least, the Bud era). Would love an experiment in playing him Jokic style, trying to build leads with his best lineups and holding together with him off.

The playoffs are just over 2 weeks away and the Bucks just lost to a 14-61 tanking Wizards team.

The last thing you would want to do right now is rest Giannis. If he's hurt or banged up that's one thing, but to rest him just to rest him at this point would be incredibly dumb.

And it's funny because the same people who think it would be a good idea to rest Giannis at this point in the season.

Are going to be the same people who won't be able to figure out why Giannis is completley gassed 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter when the playoffs begin.

Bucks are one of those teams that will lose to a team like the Wizards and then the coach and players will explain everything that they did wrong in the post game.

Then go out the next night and do all the exact same things again.
