I like that they are picking their spots w him. Keep him hungry. Keep the confidence up.

All i can knock him on so far is the fouls. Gotta learn that whole game. He clearly loves playing defense, though, so he'll figure that out

What agenda? I want him to be getting 15-20 MPG minimum right now. I'm just pointing out that averaging 3/9/7/5 with 15 fouls per 36 is funny.

My bad, since I've made a couple comments here and there about tempering our expectations of him a bit I thought you were implying I had an agenda with posting that

I don't, **** play him. On a team that desperately needs more athleticism AND BBIQ - he's right there!

Just keep playing the dude so he can work on the foul stuff, which he will, because he’s a smart dude. We got a sick role player here if they just get him on the court and let him figure it out.

Plus didn't Griff mention he wanted to find a way to give AJJ more minutes in the presser? (Not that they should be hard to find. Pat looks washed and Beasley has kind of been an adventure)

This. Give him Beas starting spot and minutes for one game and see what happens.

Worst case he fouls out in the first quarter and dick head can put his defensive stopper Beas into the game at that point.

I might go farther and say a "lite" version of Draymond without the 'tude. Kid has "it".

If dick head said that while continuing to give Pat and Beas a combined 48 mpg, then he’s lying or an idiot.

Griff mentioned that in the post game presser yesterday.

We’ll see what happens in the next game then, because the current strategy is more than 48 combined minutes PER GAME for Pat and Beas with less than ten minutes TOTAL of nongarbage time minutes for AJJ over 8 games.

Not sure why they don’t throw this guy out there is a closing lineup one time to see what happens.

we have all season to work him in. right now we need vets who have been around the block in there with a priority of the dame/giannis systems and chemistry developing.

im not sure rookies make that easier.

i think everybody in the organization views him the way we do but there are ALOT of moving parts on this team right now. plus rookies have a tendency to burn out quick. this year even at his present pace hes going to compete more than any previous season of his career. pace it and he can be a guy for us when it matters

That putback dunk is a pretty stark illustration of the athletic difference between Dre and MarJon. I know he had a running start but god damn. So did MarJon.

Yes. Marjon being called an "above the rim" player pre-draft was always weird. He's got some athleticism sure, but it's not twitchy or as functional as a lot of guys considered "athletic" on the wing. From a pure athleticism standpoint, Marjon is closer to Brandon Rush. I don't know how to explain it, like he jumps with heavy feet? AJJ is a total freak.
