Its too bad we don’t have another guard that could’ve abused Brunson

My least favorite loses are the ones where the bucks look like the less physical team and get bullied. Giannis got going a little too late, not enough makes from the role guys, Dame and Khris threw some crazy passes away. Wish we could’ve flipped the last game since it’s Christmas but can’t be mad after beating them 3 times already. You can tell that was on their minds.

Didnt see the game but Merry Christmas you filthy animals.

I get to see our boys this Friday in CLE. Near the visitor's tunnel and bench. Excited.

Our O is fine. You can have an off shooting night on open shots some nights. It happens. Our O is probably the best, most dynamic in the league. Not our problem.

Defense. It continues to haunt us, and it's why we can't keep chalking games like this to "meh, just one of those things' (sure, on O you can if you have off shooting nights like tonight). But defensively the same things continue to go wrong.

We were killed in the paint today, where we gave up 72 points. We are already 21st in the league in terms of opponent points in the paint allowed and gave up 20 more than our average tonight. Our interior D wasn't just bad, today it was non-existent.

Fastbreak defense continues to be problematic as well. We are 16th in the league in fastbreak points allowed and got beaten here today again, giving up 23, 9 more than our season average.

I'd love to know if there are stats on help defense because this looks to be where we are really falling down. Brook is always left on an island with the guards trying to chase guys down from behind after fighting over the top of screens.

130 defensive rating and the Knicks were 8/26 from three. Can't fathom that ever happening under Bud.

Great moments in life decisions: this game was on at 4 a.m. Sydney time, I figured it could only be us giving them a beat down or a disappointing upset and decided recording and watching later was best. Just finished watching- bummed by the result, but happy with my decision making.

Onwards and upwards.

Honestly today was a good test for the Bucks. Shooting was basically equal so could pick out strengths & weaknesses without all the other noise. Certainly some things to work on and some interesting decisions made but overall I'm not going to freak out about a single loss.

Or if Beasley defended someone, but he couldn't. Sad that Khris had to take Brunson because Beas couldn't do his job. Granted, that shouldn't be Beas job, but that's why he's just a bad fit on this team.

Sucks losing this game, but at least the "we'll just outscore everyone" narrative is dead. It's obvious we need a point of attack defender.

The positive from this game is Khris still has it.

Sloppy, low energy, overconfident game, but at least we earned the overconfidence.

Typical post from you you turn a team spirt into your basic beasley hate thread again. So its all beasleys fault tbry lost really.Brundon scored 30 plus points last game n bucks won by 19 didnt hear these comments then.Thry lost cause they gave up 70 points in the paint n the bench did nothing.Your so pathetic in the fact that bucks win you bash beas bucks lose n its beas fault wow

They had 72 points in the paint. Pathetic defense.

New York was under way more pressure to win and they came in with the right level of intensity. Even so, i felt like we generated a ton of great looks just missed way too much. Dont really care about this one. Excited to play some good teams we haven't played before .

Ball screen defense incoherent all game again. Just when you think they're making progress: BAM another performance where I could not tell you what they were trying to do on 3 out of 4 plays.

Transition defense was trash again (and opposing teams absolutely know it and exploit it), but the Knicks also made a stupid amount of floaters, contested layups, and mid-range jumpers. Just one of those nights and it was pretty clear early on.

It may be statistically one of the worst spots on the floor, but when our defense is designed to heavily give up those looks without much opposition, and we're playing guys who are good at that game it's really not too much of an excuse.
