Death, taxes, and every Bucks RealGM thread becoming a Khris Middleton thread.

Well it appears we aren't bringing Bud back or trading Portis and Pat C, so this is it.

Until we start on AJJ/AJG after one of them has a productive game in a blowout win.

I probably am more on the side of Midds playing no more than 30 minutes most nights but his splits this year playing bigger minutes are pretty good which surprised me. Guess while he's still thriving and being an impactful player we shouldn't worry about him playing a lot. Just gotta hope his body is fine.

So this is an important state as it will solidify our teams current form. If we win dominating then indeed we are into something but if we lose..... oh god.

GO bucks go tho!

Realgm is starting to sound more logical as the quieter majority start posting and gearing up for the post season run. Noone hates KM; it's all debating on the best use of his talents. Doc said after he got hired that what your role becomes this year is based on this year's roster. If we had 4 or 5 dudes that could splash that cold blooded 3 to protect Giannis from that deadly wall then KM could freelance a bit more but RN only Beas is really hitting and everyone else is streaky. That leaves that job to KM to help Beas and not be a liability on D. This type of role -- if he's successful, will overwhelm teams and open the paint/knock down the walls for Dame and GA as teams might decide to stay glued to Beas/KM and take their chances that GA misses free throws or gets charges. If he is patient and waits to initiate more when GA/DL that helps is A LOT. If he refuses the role (especially in crunch time) then we need someone else to step up and take those minutes and those open shots.. hopefully Jae, Gallo or a young player are ready. If the Pats, Bobby, and some others start hitting those shots consistently, that would open up more opportunities for KM to freelance IMO.

Yeah, if the argument is that there's concerns about his body holding up for a grueling playoff run playing 30-33+ mpg at postseason intensity, and that he might go down again, sure. But the argument that he's actively detrimental when playing 25+ mpg? Straight nonsense.

It’s literally that simple. It’s plenty to worry about with Khris but as soon as his impact or role is questioned, I don’t even bother.

I had to re-check to make sure I was in the game thread.

I've missed having Khris play so much that I'll even make a toast to the first time he dribbles off his leg.

I think Middleton's passing is also missed. His years of chemistry with Giannis. Maybe this will turn out for the better - allowing Dame and Giannis to find their own groove as Khash recovers from Durant trying to Zaza him.

And, yeah, that sweet, sweet midrange jumper that swishes through the net just the way it should.

The Hornets game thread is all about KM? How did that happen?

I'll repeat what I said several days ago. The Bucks can't win a title this year without a relatively healthy KM. On the other hand, they will have as good of a chance as anyone with him. He needs to play and he needs to play a lot.

Khris is a real good basketball player and a key cog to a championship run. Case closed.

Let’s take care of **** business and run this bum ass Hornets team out of Milwaukee with their tails tucked between their legs.

Brooks inability to hold onto a basketball is remarkable.

I might keep trying Giannis near the basket rather than logo 3s

Like that drive from Dame. Beat the defender and didn't look to draw a foul but earned one anyway.
