Was that when he went to the tunnel or after? If its tunnel, he couldve been walking on it out of toughness/staff didn't know yet.

Primary forwards/upwards accelerating muscle in body.

I'm assuming he walked off? You guys would be losing the plot of he got carried off. If he did, he will be ok in a couple of weeks. Not the worst time for him to get himself rested everywhere else/mentally.

He had to be helped off but then it appeared he was limping in pain on the way to the locker room.

It’s him leaving the stadium with his kids.

Giannis isn't letting a calf injury keep him out of the playoffs. Not to build him up like a superhero but we all saw 2021

He left the stadium already?

MRI is to look at what tissue is involved in the strain. If it's the muscle belly he might be fine in a week. If it involves connective tissue (likely) it will be a bit longer. The diagnosis is already there, MRI is to see what it looks like.

A strain sometimes feels like a cramp. Players can also have tears in their muscles about that they have absolutely no pain from lol. There are cases of scans happening and then medical teams seeing strains in other muscles that they pretend they never saw, because players can't feel them!

Consequences of all the loser **** going on with the team this season.

There were people calling for him to stay home during that west trip and get like 17 days rest and only miss 4 games... ahem

You're taking victory laps because a dude worth half a billion is getting an MRI on his calf, get a grip.

Yeah, it takes him 5 minutes. It's not like us where we have to take a half-day of PTO, pay $500 out of pocket on a normal salary and then have zero difference in their recovery plan. As you said, this is a 9-figure asset that will have very specific recovery plans (Stretches, rest, etc) based on small differences in a MRI. I would be more concerned if they didn't care enough to check.

Achilles rupture is super easy to diagnosis on physical exam. They would not let him walk out in Nike Dunks. Walking boot with a heal lift.

The title run taught me that Giannis is a mutant when it comes to recovery time, so I am choosing to not be worried about him being ready for game one.

Once I saw the word calf I took a huge sigh of relief. I thought it was a calf cramp initially just based off the look, but even a tear I just expect Giannis to play through no problem. No achillies/no knee is all we need to know really
