As we head into a series where Giannis will likely miss atleast the beginning of the series, now is a good time to remind people that Coach Bud went 4-2 in the playoffs in games Giannis missed. This Bucks team has enough talent to beat Indiana even without Giannis.

That said I have very little faith we actually pull out a series win

It just really sucks that the national media is again taking random shots at Giannis for no reason while he carried us all season and he probably won't get the opportunity to answer his critics in the playoffs in healthy form for the 2nd year in a row.

They were already doing that. They aren't incompetent. It's not some surprise injury situation.

Giannis put up 50 in the deciding championship game and had two sequences that will be looped forever until my brain goes to oatmeal.

If somebody else chooses to disregard/ignore/forget that, that's on them.

I'm good.

No Giannis, no problem. We got this.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This injury reminds me of Middleton’s a couple years ago when he slipped and hurt his knee. We kept hearing how he’s progressing and he might make it back toward the end of the next series or the finals. Directed up being out for more than half a year.

I’m not expecting Gianni’s to play at all. Another wasted season.

I felt this way after he snapped his knee in half, but he still came back to win us a title. I'm not counting him out just yet, but I don't blame ya, it doesn't feel good right now and if the past two years are any indication of our luck, we're screwed.

Breaking! It's 5 days until Sunday. I'll believe Giannis isn't playing when they tip-off & he's on the bench.

Series is winnable if he rehabbed first round though.

I’m sure they’re preparing to be without him and preparing to be with him as well. Probably preparing for a bunch of stuff. Such a dumb tweet.

I think it makes sense. You look at how guys have rushed back from this injury and made it worse. What's worse:

Having Giannis out and losing the series?
or
Having Giannis rush back, tear his Achilles and never be the same?

There's obviously risks and I trust the team to make the right decision. I just don't think you can throw out the 2 worst case options and be like "See guys, it makes perfect sense not to play Giannis"

Maybe I'm mistaken but given how lackluster Jrue played for us in the playoffs I would still expect more out of Dame. I think splitting non Giannis games would be a fair expectation

Would be the most Bucks thing ever to trade for a guy like Dame and have him pout through a year and never play a single playoff game with Giannis and be traded away for pennies on the dollar.

Also, this is exactly why you traded for Dame.

Time for him to prove his value.

2 notable athletes recently have had a calf issue and then tore their Achilles when they returned, KD and ARod.
Let Giannis heal until he’s ready.

I do worry about Giannis getting an Achilles injury like KD did from playing hurt

The Bucks would struggle against Indy even with Giannis healthy imo
