I could see Redd going for #5 if he weren't coming off a serious knee injury.

I think the following players will go before #10- Griffin, Rubio, Thabeet, Harden, DeRozan, Curry, Clark, Hoilday, Hill, and either Evans or Jennings.
I don't think Jennings is a good fit for Skyles offense. While I don't think Evans is either I wouldn't think that we would pass on him if he is there. I would like to see us take Holiday or Clark, but I think the Raptors would take Clark if he is there. Holiday would be a great fit next to Sessions but with his potential I think he is gone before we pick.
As far as the second round what does everyone think of Aminu, Jarvis Varnado, and Chris Johnson?
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

Are the Wizards really going to risk a starting backcourt of two players coming off major knee injuries? Don't think so.

Nope. The real question is, how much would Redd/Arenas/Butler/Jamison make between those four alone? A ridiculous amount. Washington isn't taking on that salary.

I wouldn't bank on it either if I had to make a call but again don't be surprised if we hear the Wizards are looking to deal and Redd is on the list of guys they might target. The word out of Washington is the Wizards could be looking for a veteran and possibly a veteran SG. Redd fits the bill and Ernie likes him.

The more I think about it, the more I want us to select Evans... I think he will be the player with the most potential to be a superstar that is available at ten. I think he has potential to be a Brandon Roy'ish type player.

If DeRozen or Harden fall, I would probably take them over Evans. If Evans isn't there as well, then I would start looking at Holiday.

Second round I would really like us to get Demarre Carroll.

I'd be happy with Evans if DeRozan, Harden and Holiday were off the board. I think he'd be a fine replacement for Redd down the road. I'd be surprised if he fell past the Raptors, though.

One good thing is that like last year the Knicks are reportedly locked in on a guy I don't think should be taken in the Top 10. This time it's Curry. So that bodes well for the Bucks since it will leave in my opinion a more deserving player available.

I think the Knicks are already starting to try and build a team around LeBron, without him even being there.

Why else would you take an undersized SG whose primary skill is to hit open jump shots at number 8? He'd be a good fit if LeBron was on the team, because you need deadly shooters around him... But to take him to try and build a team with, I think that's just ignorant because he has zero star potential.

I have a lot of respect for Walsh and D'Antoni but I didn't like the Gallinari pick last year and I think Curry is a guy who should go in the 15 range, not in the Top 10. He can shoot but he's slight in frame and lacks a clear position at the NBA level. I don't think that's someone you want to take in the first 10 picks. But I hope the reports are true because that gives the Bucks one more player on the board who, in my opinion, shouldn't be there.

If the Bucks are looking to deal, I think the Clips (Camby), the T'Wolves (3 firsts) and the Wizards (fifth) are the primary teams who will be looking to trade. I think the T'Wolves in particular are going to look to deal. They could try to package their three picks and move up or if they can't do that, maybe they'd package their two later picks for something.

If the choice is Blair at 10, I'd prefer to see if the T'Wolves would take Ridnour/10 for 18. I'd rather get some savings than take Blair at 10.

Ridnour/10 for 18? So the trade would end up being Mo Williams and DeJuan Blair for like Jeff Teague?

All-star PG and the 10th pick to move back in the draft.

Sounds like a good deal to me! ;)

I don't care who the principles were a year ago. All I care about is what Hammond can do now to shave salary. If the choice is Blair or trading back, I'd be looking to trade back.

The solution is to just not pick Blair at 10... If John Hammond is as good of a GM as you believe he is, he will realize that.

Sigh ...

OK, so you've picked whomever you want at #10, but don't have the money to sign either Sessions or CV.

Congratulations.

I agree. But if DeRozan and Holiday are gone there's really nobody left who excites me. I'd be fine with Clark but I don't know how good he's going to be. The PGs like Lawson, Maynor and Flynn don't excite me much. If there was one guy I really liked who I felt confident would be there at 10 I'd say stay put and take him. But right now the two guys I like the most who could be there - DeRozan and Holiday - might not be there.

By the way, how sad is it that as Bucks fans our most exciting times of the year are discussing the results of the draft lottery, the draft itself, and what may or may not occur at the trade deadline?

It is our general managers job to create the space to resign Sessions as well as keep the 10th pick. If he cannot do that, then he has failed miserably at his job.

I think everyone here would agree with that.
