G-League seems like the best spot for him.

Depends on his attitude. If he is slightly humbled.. that would be a good first step. UW doesn't have a spot anyways.

I'd bet a lot of money they'll have a spot.

Hm. That leaves the humbling...for some reason.

I am very not-low-key excited for Coach K to retire. Independent of Duke and all that comes with it, I do appreciate what he's done for and meant for college ball. I also am simultaneously sick to death of hearing of and from him; his reign has been literally my entire life (which, yes, is incredible). I'm just ready for fresh blood there.

Theo John is what Thanasis would be in college.

And to UNC. I don't recall who it is, but I know we have a Tarheel fan here. I'm sure they're on cloud 9.

Hes a guy id love at UWM, right now McCollum is my first choice but Lamont can coach and navigate the transfer portal the way you need at a mid major.

Well, unless they paid him a ton more money...why would he make that move? Isn't Chattanooga/UWM a pretty lateral move at best?

I'm already calling my shot that that while it is a very specific sort of storyline that most of the country won't care that much about, they're gonna do the Gard vs. Paris matchup in round one.

The Buddy Boeheim thing is kind of gross. He punched someone in the gut. He rightfully got a suspension, but everyone is walking on eggshells over it because he's the coach's kid. Some media, including Jay Bilas, are calling the suspension unfair because the refs didn't review it in real-time and 'that's final.'

Blech.

Bilas showed his ass tonight. That was a bad take.

UWM seems to really be going after Ben McCollum, would be a pretty great get to be the next coach, guy is only 40 and maybe has the GOAT run in D2 hoops. Plus if any of you miss the glory days of cheering for a **** team yall can start supporting UWM.

What's the deal with him? He's had a great run, why is he still in D2? Has he had no D1 offers or just decided to stay put?

Last time they hired a D2 coach it worked out pretty well. I mean, he's a cheating piece of ****, but still, sweet 16!
