Yeah, he really shouldn't have gone for the actual block considering how great of a position he was in defensively.

Feels like everything this NBA season after the Dame trade has been one continuous slap in the face for us Bucks fans.

Right down to Jason Kidd very possibly leading the Mavs to the NBA Finals. And at worst leading the Mavs to the WCF winning the clinching game on an intentional missed free throw.

I think you might argue that it's actually been a continuous slap in the face for the past 12 months since the firing of Bud...lol.

You saying he didn't get the ball?

doesn't matter that he got ball/hand first -- he got the wrist and forearm too before the shot went up

was comfortably the correct call, which is why it was confirmed on review

Getting confirmed on the replay is not dispositive for me. They **** up all the time. They even **** up in the L2M reports. Incidental contact on a double clutch 3 after a block is not a foul.

Dumb of Shai to leave it to the refs, I still hate the call though, even if technically correct. Of course Washington didn't release the ball first, he got blocked.

That was one of those situations where it was a foul, the issue is the refs probably don't call that foul in in that situation 90% of the time. From that perspective, you feel like you got screwed if you're OKC.

If OKC were the Lakers or Celtics, not a chance in hell they call that foul in that situation.

Presti has no one to blame but himself. He facilitated Dallas getting Lively, and refused to part with a pick for Gafford.

It was definitely a foul. I don’t get the debate. Yes he first hit the ball but then his arm preventing him from getting the shot up. Was pretty clear cut on the replay.

Lively being +26 and Gafford being -25 in a 1 point win is wild.

So I guess bc PJ kept ahold of the ball before the double pump shot its almost like 2 acts. So the first block was clean but the 2nd wasnt. Giannis had a similar play on brogdon early in the season where he got a clean block but also dragged his hand down brogdon’s arm, which was deemed not a foul bc it was after the shot. Bizarre play really, that im not sure i fully agree with, in terms of the actual rule.

Dallas would have taken Lively at 10 had the trade not gone down. But with the trade they shed Bertrans salary and got a $17 million trade exception. And still got lively. Good move by Nico.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

i dont fault OKC for not doing much at the deadline. but from here on out, they need to be maximizing their chances around SGA. kinda crazy to think that they can basically do whatever they want.

OKC just needs a prime Barkley alongside Chet and they’ll be set.

SGA hit PJ on the arm leading to an airball. It's clearly a foul. If you don't like that call, don't blame the ref. Blame the NBA rule book.

C'mon now. They beat the old Kawhiless Clippers and a too young OKC team. I'd wager they get stomped in 5 or worst case 6 against Nuggets or Wolves. Those 2 teams are so far ahead of everyone else.

I’m assuming Monday morning first take will be asking where SGA should ask out to. I would assume the push will be to the Knicks, Heat and obviously the Lakers will give up DLo for him while throwing in a protected pick
