Like Shafty said if this inspires him to be more aggressive going forward its awesome. Hope he keeps grinding away on drills and putting in the hard work

It was cool to see all the variety, counters, multiple moves strung together in these clips. He sells stuff well. If his skill level gets up to NBA level, he's got the creativity to be a real scorer.

Yes, bad competition. But this is what it looks like when a guy is playing loose and with great confidence. Gotta hope he can carry that over vs NBA competition.

Idk it just looked like he was taking advantage of loose d from guys less athletic than him. I didn't see anything that looked unguardable or that would translate all that well against elite NBA wings. 8 for 17 on 3s probably is the biggest bright spot. Was that a shorter line?

Dude has a lot off hand talent not just in that shot, he made a bunch of super impressive lefty passes off the drive in his limited minutes last season.

Better for Marshown to score 83 points than not score 83 points.imo

4 assists? I'm surprised the ball didn't bounce off the back of his teammates heads.

I don’t think summer league or this scrimmage are representative of how we would use him but seems to me there is great potential there. My worry is how lackadaisical he seemed defending. Him being an 3 and D guy is his path to playing time.

Hope that he and Dre44 compete to be the best defender on the team. Then we have something

Ι could care less about the stats.
He seems to really enjoy playing, as opposed to treating it as aerobic gym time.
This in conjunction with putting on muscle (meaning he is also committed to the work) usually result in some useful player over time.
Just hoping he can put everything together this year

Guys be tripping about one preseason game of bad shooting.

Marjon does good fundamental things, makes the right play. Genuinely celebrates his teammates success.

Nwora never made passes like him.

Happy Birthday, Marjon!

yeah, i'd rather see him over Beasley.. give him every chance. if you value defense, you just can't have Dame and Beasley on the court together very much.
