His perimeter defense is a joke. He'd fit right in.

Yea, offense still looks decent though. He's probably a guy that isn't really going to give much effort in a G League game, he wants to play in the real thing.

Replaced on the roster with a far more intriguing player, Brandon Randolph. Brandon returns to the states after a productive couple of seasons overseas. He was quietly productive for us in summer league, and has shown a ton of development since his first Herd stint.

Equally impressive is being a +4 in 34 minutes in a 15 point loss.

Herd draft 2nd today. I'll predict we take Joe Weiskamp.

Another possibility is Jared Rhoden. He isn't the shooter Weiskamp, but he gets more done on the defensive end. Both are 6'6" with 6' 11" wingspans.

Thought we had traded that pick for some reason.

Looking at the draft pool, and not knowing most of the guys, I'd take Alan Griffin.

Sam Merrill goes 1st overall, Herd get Weiskamp. Weiskamp will be a nice trade asset at the G League level.

Herd had a 2nd 1st round pick, and grabbed Tyrn Flowers at #23. He's a rail skinny small school 6'9" lefty with real perimeter skills. Perfect G League developmental prospect.

Good for Sam Merrill, he'll get called up at some point this season.
