Chet will be all about potential because of his size, but his skillset is nutty. Someone said he compared favorably to Evan Mobley at the same stage. Chet has more guard skills, but he's also like 30lb lighter which is wild.
The question is does he have the physicality or the athleticism to put those ball skills to use and have them translate against the better competition. Its one thing to show off those skills against really inferior opposition. But can he put the ball down and create against NBA size and athleticism? Because so far when he has gone against legit starting front courts (Texas and Duke), he really wasn't able to show off any of his skills. He couldn't put the ball down and create with consistency against those teams.
I know this is an extreme comparison, but people thought the Maker's all had nutty skillsets. They were handling the ball out on the perimeter in high school and doing pull up 3s. But its one thing to do that against high school competition, its another to do it against legit competition. Still waiting to see if Chet has the athleticism/physicality where he can actually use those skills against legit competition.
