Yea I was perfectly happy with it and thought it was good but I wouldn't have said things at the level some posted here. That said, episodes 6 and 7 are the two best episodes and damn near perfect TV. So those might be next up for you to take it up a level. 6 could've easily just been a movie.

Just watched 6 & 7, agreed, really good.

I have been very complimentary of “the bear” but don’t consider it a great show. Its a very good show, with great acting. I think it impacts people because the overall tone is fairly dark, but it hits some high, hopeful notes. For example, Marcus strolling through Copenhagen is not great tv, but it made me really happy.

S2 episodes six and seven are legitimately great, though.

Moving on with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin was pretty good. The comedy /thriller the Blackening was good.

Emmuney I finished “Blood Meridian” and you were not exaggerating. Its like, the book of Judges (most violent book in the Bible), meets Shakespeare, meets Louie L’amour. I’ve been haunted by its themes of ambiguous borders, manifest destiny, and man’s propensity to violence. Also, if it ever becomes a movie Charlie Villaneuava is my vote to play the judge. Seven foot, hairless, and light on his feet. Also, you’re the only one in the world that would get that comparison.

Part of me wants to see what Cage as Aragorn would have looked like.

I'm excited for Deadpool but man is this "let's get cameos from every awful superhero movie cuz nostalgia" multiverse stuff absolutely lame and exhausting. Even dumber that all of this stuff gets leaked months before the movie even comes out, which completely ruins the only fun thing about the cameos which is the surprise factor.

If rumors are true about the plot of the movie, the cameos are for a very good reason, nothing really to do with nostalgia.

Matty Matheson (Neil from The Bear) is going to be hosting some burger thing at Harley Fest this weekend.
