Game 31: Bucks at Nets - 12/27/23 - 6:30 - BSWI - Giannis Questionable, Johnson/Dinwiddie Out

Nets are scuffling along at 14-15. We won a close one in Brooklyn a few weeks go. Thomas had 45, Bridges 31. Nets stopped a 5 game losing streak against Detroit Saturday night and face them again tonight in Detroit so they'll be on a B2B. Nets have some good pieces but this is a game the Bucks should win and will win.

The W-L record provides a base line of team performance, but I like to break that down to home and away records, along with records against teams over .500.

The Bucks are scuffling along on the road, pretty much stuck at .500. That is ok early in the season, building cohesion with a newly added superstar and the schemes of a new coach, but it is reaching the point where a true contender starts winning on the road.

The Bucks have taken the first step, establishing a winning record overall. A winning road record is next, followed by a winning road record against teams over .500. No time like the present.

With all of the negatives about this team.

It is nice to see a team that usually shows up in the 4th quarter. In years past it felt like we were more compared to the Suns. Beating teams for 3 quarters and blowing it at the end. Now, we usually coast for 3 quarters and go off in the 4th.
