Well, you see, Slap the Bag is a game where you take a bag, you drink from it, then you slap it.

Then you yell, "Slap the Bag, WOOO!" and that's it. That's the game.

Immediately read this and imagined someone taking a swig from the spout of a goon bag, yelling "Slap the Bag, WOOO!", throwing it to their arch nemesis then staring them down... as their arch nemesis pauses for a moment, our protagonist KidA24 mutters "I said WOOO, big boy. Let's go." as the bass line for The National Anthem kicks in...

Video games, Music (playing and going to shows) are my main hobbies. I also enjoy sleeping and avoiding doing work.

The Brewers have a really fun farm system, especially at Biloxi.

I've been to Sounds games. Rattlers too. Been thinking of a Biloxi trip.

For me it's videogames all year, golf during the spring-fall, and then my kids take up all my free time. I play soccer one night a week too. But I don't really have many hobbies outside of sports and family. I like to cook too.

I've tried getting into new hobbies but I feel like I waste money and time and never get anywhere with them.

The only drinking related movies I have been a part of are the bear fights which have been captured.

However, now I feel as though I need to make this short film happen.

Play volleyball
video games a little bit
photography though that's my job now so it kinda disappeared as a hobby
little bit of hiking and boating

I started reading again. I'm currently working on the Red Rising series. Golden Son caused full blown emotional trauma.

There was a lovely travel story in the NYT last year about a writer going on a trip to see a minor league team in Spokane, they posted a podcast version of it as one of their Sunday Reads (pretty sure it's the author reading it) and I found it quite endearing. Would recommend a listen.

That sucks. Went there many times over the years. Now it's going to be a Mexican restaurant apparently.

Yeah, I'm going to have to grab a rueben in there. Loved the bar area. Maybe the last of the "adult" bars on State.

OTOH, I just discovered the Boathouse Lounge connected to the Edgewater. Right on the Mendota shore with a sprawling multi-boat slip. Feels hidden. On a Thursday night, I thought it should be packed but was sparsely occupied.

Yup, fantastic spot. I think it stays hidden because it's on frat row.

Kubb.

If taught properly, it will be your new favorite back yard lawn game.

My group of friends have run a tournament for the past 10 years to raise money for local families.

Had never heard of it, just had a look and I’m rather interested! Any good resources you could recommend for learning more (apart from getting a set)?
