PG Utah: Bucks run out of gas

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Feb 5, 2024 3:26 am

Played very well for awhile. Dame was obviously hurt and should have sat this one out. Giannis was great. Pat continues his slide into oblivion (hopefully on someone else's bench).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Dame disasterclass. Jae playing in no man's land on defense.

That was so ugly. Giannis carried hard as he could but Dame said not tonight fellas.

Send Dame away on a sabbatical until he gets his head right.

Not sure how much it would've helped but needed to see what Dre and Marjon had tonight. Got very little from the vets, specially when their legs got tired. Needed to try something.

Crazy how quickly **** turned once the gas ran out.

What Scott Foster is to Chris Paul. Tyler Ford is to the Bucks.

Marjon should have played against the 3 big lineup.

I get he's dinged up and everyone got tired but we need more from Dame in these games. He was brought in to bring more consistently and he's being paid accordingly. The expectations are higher for him.

Dame was amazing last night. Plays on an obviously gimpy ankle because we're shorthanded and gets dumped on. Sounds right.

What was the weird thing where they wouldn't let Livingston in? He was at the scores table since the Giannis free throws. Just a cap to the horrible officiating.

Though the loss had nothing to do with the refs. Giannis was getting double with a shadow every time down the court and we just missed the kick outs or Bobby was too slow swinging.

Most of the bench was starting. The biggest problem tonight was Doc putting big minutes on old starters on a B2B. Playing Giannis the entire 4th and all but 3 minutes in the third was a recipe for disaster.

Not using any Marjon or Ajax was also dumb on a b2b. AJ green played well and barley played in Q4.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

At some point we need to stop excuses for anyone in this team, Dame especially keeps these up and down performances which are extremely frustrating.

I cant blame this on Doc tonight, our guys could hit a wide open shot out of 100 that Giannis dished and then on defense watching Pat, Bobby and Dame defend made me really dislike basketball for a moment.

This is pathetic showing and we need big time DEFENSIVE trades yesterday.

Trade Bobby, as good he is on offense he undoes it easily on defense, guy doesnt ever box out or rebound.

Bench is really poor. Didn't help that guys missed some wide open shots in the fourth while you had Olynyk sinking desperation fadeaways.

Was upset to see Dre get subbed in at scrub time when we needed his energy and disruption way earlier. Thought for sure he wasn't available.

Im getting really fed up when we have random rookies making shot after shot from the same play from the same location for 10 **** times without us adjusting.

We sort of need Brogdon back guys. Can play D, run the offense and look for his own shot.

I mean he's has enough of these games this season to think it might not be all the ankle/b2b. Having a career worst year from 3.

When there are 2 free throws they always wait until after the first one to let subs in. Weird but that's the rule

We had no one to finish in the 4th. Giannis will always be Giannis, but when he's opening up the floor with the double teams, no one could hit a shot. Giannis should have had 16-17 assists tonight.

I hate to say it, but the finishing of Midds would have been really handy down the stretch tonight.
