Game 51: Bucks at Suns - 2/6/24 - 9:00 - TNT - Dame/Brook OUT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Feb 5, 2024 11:35 pm

Tough game to end the road trip. Finishing up a 3 in 4 nights and starting a new one (Tue/Thur/Fri).

Suns are playing well but have a better road record than home.

Giannis probable. Dame questionable (ankle). Brook questionable (personal)

Grayson revenge game.

Cam Payne revenge game.

Also a revenge game for the world's biggest fool:

Suns will forever be the team that lost the coin toss to us and blew a 2-0 Finals lead to us.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Why is this game thread up so early? I thought we had a few days off before playing the Suns.

There was a point in time where I would have given up anything to pair Beal with Giannis.

Not that he was ever available but I always thought Booker was perfect pairing with Giannis. Bookers ability to play both on and off the ball and his end game shot making would have complimented Giannis. And I think they would have worked personality wise.

Lots of good/great wings on the Suns. Good time for Doc to play AJJ and Marjon. We need their energy and effort.

Yeah Booker was on my list too (along with Kemba lol). Before the bubble everyone thought he was an empty stats guy. Phoenix was a mess. I feel like he could have been had with the right offer.

Sarver was an piece of **** but he loved Booker. He was the only guy he ever seemed quick and happy to pay. Through all that mess Booker was always great with local media and super active in the community so dealing him would have caused backlash in an already dark time. Untouchable isn't the right word because he wasn't prime LeBron but I don't think they ever had any interest in trading him.

I live out here and Booker is the most popular athlete in the city by a wide margin.

We're a tad lucky Embiid has gone down. Could've easily slipped to the 5 seed by the end of this West trip. Seems more likely than not we'll drop to fourth soon. Knicks powering along.

It might help a blogger get clicks
Or a fantasy player make picks
But here's pointless reading--
The East playoff seeding
As it stands now on February 6

Not too concerned about the way the way the table (as our Aussie friends would say, I think) looks right now. There will be time to worry about that.

Meanwhile, sure would like a 120-104 victory.

Yep we will look great for those 6 minutes too, and then we will get tired. Hope Jae and Major Payne can keep us within 30 points

Would be nice to get a win here and go 2-3 on this West trip. At least we get to play the Hornets 3 times yet this month.
