PG Nuggets: Former Champs Whip Current Champs

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Feb 13, 2024 3:16 am

Sure feels good to see the Bucks play like we know they can play.

Giannis 36/18/5/3/2 on 19 shots. Jokic 29 points on 25 shots.

Bench was great. Pat had 5 boards and 5 assists.

Green seems to have earned regular rotation minutes. We'll see what happens when Khris returns.

If you score you may win. If they never score you will never lose. Defense wins championships..

That's a football quote but it pertains here too. Defense set the tone for the blowout.

Fun game from start to finish.

Everyone wanted Caruso but Pat Bev was the answer the entire time. Backup PG move changed the dynamic of our entire team

Man, wish Thanasis had the hands to catch that last oop attempt. Pass completely fooled me.

Brook and Giannis really seem to be back in sync on defense in the paint again. Doc looks to have made the right adjustments there.

Tough how it seems like they've been playing better than ever during the worst W/L portion of the season since Doc took over.

This is a good showing of why it was so baffling to me anyone was so vehemently anti-Doc. Replacing Griff with a chihuahua would have been a net-positive.

I feel a lot better with PatBev on backup guard minutes rather than Cam Payne.

If Pat can somehow just average 5/5/5 on 100% shooting with decent defence that'd be great.

A. 7 - 1 without KM
B. 0 - 5 without Dame
C. 28 and 19 with KM

Best predictor of success might be A

Bingo
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Gotta give Doc credit. The team looks so much more cohesive the past few games.

Won't hold my breath for a digital, front-page ESPN spread about how the defense looked improved and how the Bucks tied the defending champs to the whipping post, so I'll just enjoy the hell out of this with you.

Anyone but Griffin was a choice, but I still was hoping for someone better than Doc

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”
