Game 56: Bucks at Griz - 2/15/24 - 7:30 - TNT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Feb 14, 2024 8:13 pm

Last game before the break. Memphis has lost 9 straight. A win doesn't mean anything but a loss certainly would. Just get the win with no injuries and regroup over the break for the stretch run. We don't play again until the 23rd. I'm not sure when practice resumes next week but the break is coming at a good time. I wish Giannis and especially Dame had the full break too.

This will be the 5th game Khris misses (plus all but 8 minutes of the Suns game). Maybe he's back next week, who knows. The injury is legit but Khris does take forever to heal.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Got to just play at least one young guy and live with it. We're just too **** slow.

I think it will be eerily silent.

Memphis will be on a B2B. But all of our team sans Giannis and Dam will be mentally in Cancun.

Dame popping off for like 35-40+ in this one would do a lot for my basketball sanity lol.

I think I will be more confused as ever. Honestly rather have a mundane game and chalking it up to him needing rest/refocus.

Must win! For the sanity of this board.

Would like to see more AJ green in the early rotation and give me a little bit of AJJ some meaningful minutes as well.

Maybe he can get in there with Pbev and get shown the way.

I just want to see him defend his 3pt title and see how his shot looks. Is he gonna suck in front of his peers? Or does he still have it?

I’m feeling anemic. Break’s coming at the right time.

I think when you're changing systems/philosophies it can lead to some confusion in the rotations and placement of people. Tighten that up, sign Gallo, and make open shots and we're going to be tough for anyone to beat.

Right, good call. The all-star game and weekend brings back some warm fuzzy feelings and he remembers who he is again. We're like ripping this poor guy to shreds and meanwhile he's the All Star starter  we would be pissing ourselves in joy in the past if we had a 2nd all star starter.

Are we sure Dame’s head hasn’t been there all year?

Mentally, I'll be in the lab.

Sharpening darts.

Getting some posts up.

Doesn't mean I won't take a break for some pad thai or shrimp scampi. Still gotta recharge.

Grizzlies blew a pretty large lead last night but held on to beat Houston. Not sure if it’s better being on the end of a losing streak being broken or risking being the team they break the losing streak against? But either way this will be a colossal let down if we blow this game tonight.

I really like GG Jackson, he’s playing really well this year and makes me nervous he’s gonna match up with Bobby Portis a lot during 2nd unit runs. There’s a good chance he gives Bobby the business trying to guard him. Gonna need someone other than Giannis to play like they actually give a ****. And I’m still waiting on that nuclear Dame game, tonight would certainly be a breath of fresh air.

Bucks in 6. Let’s **** go!
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis
