Game 63: Bucks at Warriors - 3/6/24 - 9:00 - ESPN/BSWI - Giannis Will Play

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Mar 5, 2024 7:58 pm

Bucks start a 4 game west coast trip. Given the pain Giannis was in warming up Monday night I can't imagine he's playing this one. Or maybe even the next couple. That sucks. Obviously I want to win games but as a basketball fan I want to see the best play against the best. And there are no indications Khris is ready to go. The initial injury report will be out later today.

Warriors were embarrassed Sunday afternoon and are just 16-15 at home. But they can light it up on any given night. This will be tough with or without Giannis. We won by 11 in January in Milwaukee. It was a 2 point game going into the 4th and the Warriors were without Steph, Green, Paul. No word on if Wiggins will be back or if Podziemski will return after missing 2 games with a knee injury.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bobby and Dray get in a tussle, Pat Bev cracks Green (Draymond, sorry for confusion) with a folding chair, Bucks win 120-104, retaining ownership of the Intercontinental belt.

West coast basketball. I love it.

Anyone awake in my house will be watching with me because they love the Bucks (the dog).

Draymond has Bobby in one of his patented sleeper holds and out of nowhere, coach Bud comes running out of the tunnel and starts whaling on Draymond, freeing Bobby from the sleeper hold. Bobby and both Pats then take turns on Draymond as Bud chases a fleeing Steve Kerr back to the locker room. We never see Bud Again.

As amazing as the Clippers game was, not having Giannis for these fun Western conference matchups does suck. He would’ve massacred the Clippers and their small lineups last night and probably same for the Warriors.

I know Dame and Giannis have to continue to build chemistry, but I wouldn't hate a week or so of Dame going off and getting that confidence back (until he gets back to Milwaukee and the depression returns).

Lucky guy. Not even my dog stays up with me for 9p tips. I have to take him out at halftime or I'm not getting him out after the game for his last bathroom break.

When my first two kids went off to college it was just me and the dogs for Bucks games. My oldest will be at the Laker game Friday and the Clipper game Sunday though. She's a big fan.

Giannis can sit, but can Khris come back already? Sheesh.

Lisa: Ohoho, AJ Automatic all the way from Fiveserv!
Novak: I still can't tell if that's AJ Green or Steve Kerr.

Middleton is vastly becoming my least liked buck. Giannis being questionable but Khris bring out is all you have know. Khris will basically steal money and play as little as humanly possible for the duration of his insane contract. It will shortly become the worst contract in the league

I can actually see the crowd in general on the west coast having some excitement to see Dame.

They only get to see him once a year now and on a new team.

I was at the heat game when I was with family in Miami early Dec, and there were various dame jerseys everywhere.

And even heat fans were excited to see Dame, they were rooting for Miami but got excited every time Dame had the ball.

Dame's game is also very attractive to the NBA general fans now. They love the 30ft bombers.

He's also from LA, so I can see Dame thriving on this trip.

The team playing for Dame and clamping in D.

Very possible Dame lifts the team to a score of say... 120. And the newly infused pressure defense keeps warriors barely over 100,maybe just... 104.

Or, you know, he's just injured and will be back when he's healthy enough to play.

For a few weeks until the next injury sets him back for another 6 weeks
