Game 66: Bucks at Kings - 3/12/24 - 9:00 - BSWI - Khris is....wait for it....OUT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 11, 2024 7:15 pm

Bucks finish out the road trip with a chance to go 2-2. The Bucks won a thriller over the Kings in January, 143-142 in OT with Dame's game winner. That was a fun back and forth game. Khris (surprise) and Crowder were out. AJJ started, had 5 fouls in 10 minutes and went back to the bench. Giannis had a triple double, Beasley had a nice game. Sabonis also had a triple double and Fox, Huerter and Monk had great games.

The initial injury report will be out later today, I don't expect Khris to play until maybe, MAYBE Thursday at home.

We have a very upcoming light schedule. Plenty of time to rest and get in some practices. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. Wednesday and then a B2B next week Thursday.

Go Bucks.

He has the tools but if you're saddled with the name Keegan (sp?), you have a very definite ceiling and I'm here to inform it is less than stratospheric.

If I may offer some insights on the Bucks and Kings;

1. both teams offer potential slam dunks
2. both have 5 letter nicknames

Should be a good one!

Middleton had a big game on the road against the Kings last season. He seems comfortable against teams with small guards who don't put a lot of pressure on the ball. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays

Murray is questionable with a sprained ankle. Kings play again Wednesday against the Lakers, maybe he sits this one.

Thanks to daylight savings, I will probably miss this one. Maybe seeing the first quarter if that.

End of an era. I've reached that point in my life where I am not even going attempt to watch this one due to the late start. Father time does no jobs.

Father Time is undefeated because Father Time stays on the grind. Hold your insulting tongue.

Better win tonight bc they'll be dead on Thursday. Doubt they get home before 6 AM tomorrow.

What does daylight savings have to do with it? Game time would still be 9:00 before we switched the clocks last weekend.

I love late starts. It helps that I have a 10 foot commute the next morning.

This week I am more tired than usual, going to sleep much earlier than normal. Happens every year. Once I get home from work, workout, eat, then I am done.

It does not help that I have a 70 mile commute.

The fans can't stay up late at night
The players will have a long flight
Are we watching the league
Or discussing fatigue?
I'll be up, and to all a good night

OK, I can be a little smug since I'm on Pacific time, but I'll be watching to the end, when the scoreboard shows 120-104.

Daylight savings does disrupt things for normal people who don't live in a place that follows some bizarre almost 100 year old archaic system to switch around clocks that have no value in today's modern world.

It's a weird system and I don't how I used to put up with that for so many years.

Yeah I go 70+ miles south and my wife goes 70+ miles north. Only doing this for 1.5 more years then we will be traveling nurse practitioners basically tripling our salaries so it's worth it......but it is difficult at times. At least it's pretty much a straight shot for us both ways down/up HWY 43.

Hopefully no traffic. I actually prefer the 75 mile commute for an hour on highways over a 30 min commute through traffic. Feel it is more relaxing where you can take a call or listen to an audio book without being concerned your going to miss a turn or make a decision on a yellow light.
