When Brook didn't come back I figured either Brook got hurt or Doc got smart.

I like that we finally have a coach who coaches with a feel for the game.

One of my biggest complaints about Bud was that he coached with zero feel for the game. He had set lineups and set rotations regardless of match ups or how good/bad guys were playing.

Doc has a much better feel for the game. Probably because he played. AG played but he had no feel for the game either as a coach, but he was just a bad coach overall.

That’s also why we could use one more athletic shot blocker maybe like Gabriel for small ball lineups.
Is there any scenario where a player signed now could qualify for the playoffs

Several comments on tv worth noting, a few with hidden meaning:

1) Kendrick Perkins-I'd like to see Giannis at the five (no Lopez)

2) Hubie- His recognition to the Big O. Hubie and I were the only ones who watched him in his prime.

3) Bobby- stating several times. I have coaches who believe in me.

If Bobby is going to play like a borderline MVP candidate every time Giannis is out, we might be ok.

Bobby was also great in the Clippers game when Giannis was out.

Bobby played great but Dame was the MVP candidate in both games lol

Yeah, Dame played great today too. And on a Sunday afternoon game, I wasn't expecting that.

That was a fun game, love to see Khris looking the same after a while off. Glad to see that we went small too, wonder why it’s so hard to do when Giannis plays. That kings game still bothers me.

Also think the extra space with no Giannis defender in the paint unlocks stuff for dame, helps when we shoot great from three though. Wonder if we can get that figured out.

Khris comes back and the offense gets back into high gear. Coincidence?

Idk. We could’ve (should’ve) used him in the 4th when Beal was going to the rim over and over and over

Durant is so soft. Hasn’t done anything since leaving a team that won 73 games without him.

The way the media treats him is beyond me.

We're 3-1 without Giannis this year, the 1 loss being the week before Griffin got fired when the team was completely done with the dude.

Dame in the 3 wins (Clippers/Suns/Raps) is averaging 36/4/11 on 73% TS lol. The talks of him being overrated before the game because he can't lift us without Giannis were really bizarre. That's the specific scenario where he HAS delivered this season lol. The key is to get him this aggressive, decisive, locked the **** in when Giannis is playing, every night.

Anybody we signed now would be playoff eligible as long as he wasn't on another roster after March 1st. Given all the 10 days flying around, I think you'd be hard pressed to find somebody worthwhile. Should have signed Gabriel instead of Gallo. Too late now.

He did nearly single handedly carry his Nets past our eventual championship team.

He looks great 6''11 shooting and moving as great as he does, but he has played with loaded teams all his life and the only success he had was with the Warriors team. The real greats impact the game not only with scoring

Great job answering when it got scary multiple times in the second. Obviously missing Giannis but it's too late in the season for moral victories. Hope we get to see the team at near full strength Wednesday. Of course Khris will still be on a minutes restriction.

I think we're on the same page here. You're saying bring both off the bench, right?

I truly think championship rest on Khris being healthy. The way he stabilizes the offense is staggering

Imagine being someone who doesn't think that Khris being healthy helps this team meaningfully. They can still win a championship.

He has transitioned into the super savvy veteran who you know will give you 20 pts on good efficiency every night.

It's likely we're the #2 seed come playoff time. As it stands right now, the #2 seed gets the winner of the 76'ers/Heat, and Philly will have Embiid back by then. Ugh.
