What are your thoughts on this West region bracket (Joe Lunardi's final projections)?

Honestly, I'm not super confident in AZ, but of the top 4 seeds, I'd prefer NC over all of them (unless Houston continues to remain really injured, but I hope they don't for their sake).

This is what I was afraid of. Auburn, FAU in UConn's bracket. All three had a chance to get to the Final Four. Damn the committee.

I feel bad for Indiana State Sycamores.

They should have gotten in rather than the UVA Cavs or Mich State Spartans.

Tuff for St Johns Red Storm and Seton Hall Pirates as well, just missing out.

Right now, some of the teams are declining the NIT bids. :o

Including St Johns, Pitt, etc (bubble teams left out of the NCAA tournament). I do know that portal tranfers season is a factor as well.

In Midwest region, Tennessee dropping to #2 seed is Purdue's bad luck. I think Vols can beat Purdue, if someone else doesn't before them. And if Vols make it that far. I think South region sets up really nice for Duke and NC State, my dark horse from there. Out of the West I'm picking Arizona. East is UConn's to lose.

I think Houston, Creighton, Purdue or Tenn wins it all.

Darkhorse: San Diego State, UConn, FAU, St Marys (CA), Arizona, etc.

Lol. Toss up!

Lots of good teams and interesting match ups. There may be quite a few upsets as well.

I kind of like AZ's road. Though I don't know a ton about Dayton. But I'd prefer NC of all the 1 seeds. Baylor would be tough. Of course I can see them losing to Dayton (or Nevada), Baylor, NC, but the road seems better than the other 2 seeds.

We have a very easy path. No excuses this year.

I'd love to see New Mexico take out Baylor and have an old school rematch....if you recall, Lute refused to play New Mexico after 'The Pit' incidents...they hate our guts.

New Mexico hooking up with Arizona in Los Angeles would be electric. Both fanbases would show up for that game.

Anyway, my Final Four picks are:

1 UConn vs. 1 North Carolina
7 Florida vs. 3 Creighton

UConn and Creighton play for the championship. UConn is the national champ. With my luck, Creighton will be upset in round 1.

But, w/o teh brackets at the moment. I could see teams like Houston Coogs, Purdue, Arizona, Bama, Gonzaga, St Marys (CA), Iowa State, Tennessee, San Diego State, etc win it all

Even some darkhorses like South Carolina, Baylor, Creighton, Utah State, Marquette, FAU, Dayton, Illinois, Indiana State, Wazzu, etc.

It's Cougs, my man! Not Coogs!

Undefeated in all sports since I first enrolled in 1999!

Wow!

According to google, I was dead, flat-out wrong!

Phenomenal, moronic mistake on my part!

Wow!

[still undefeated, though]

Sheesh. It really isn't all that different before the seedings were set. I know, you've been disappointed before, like 2018. LOL! Although I tell ya if NC State wins their region, I got them beating your team. That's my cinderella of sorts.
