Game 70: Nets at Bucks - 3/21/24 - 7:00 - NBATV/BSWI

Our first B2B in awhile. The downside to keeping the Celtics game close is some guys played a lot of minutes.

Pretty sure Giannis and Khris will sit. But the Nets are really bad, can't lose this one at home.

Bucks favored by 8.5

Go Bucks.

Man, am I glad Rodgers is the Nets' problem. Too much drama for the production.imo

Not really though. Celts had four starters play over 37 minutes. Only Dame played more than 34 minutes, and that was 36.

IMO, the line suggests Giannis is playing.

It's up to 9.5. I suppose he could play but we don't play again until Sunday, he'd have a full 10 days off if he sits tonight.

Khris should be fresh as a daisy. I'd imagine for Gianni it's a 50/50 shot.

Couldn’t watch much of the last game, was Giannis on the bench? I thought he didn’t make the trip.

He did not go to Boston. The Bucks have to submit their initial injury report no later than 1:00

NO way I am playing Khris tonight. He fell again last night and I thought that was the end of his season.

He's looked so good the 2 games since returning i wouldn't risk anything, cover him in bubble wrap until the playoffs.

Khris took one to the chin and then a hip check. Both times I was fearing significant injury.

Giannis got his week off and we went 1-1 with the loss coming by 3 on the road in Boston. I am usually not into moral victories, but I would call the past 7 days a success. Giannis got his rest and we're still currently sitting at #2 in the east and despite the loss, I think we gained some confidence against Boston. Last year around this same time we played Boston and they beat us by like 40, in Milwaukee with Giannis on the floor.

We won't have as good of an overall record as last season, but we have played the top teams considerably better this season compared to last season.

As for Giannis, I would bring him back tonight and let him get his legs back under him for the big game vs OKC on Sunday. We should be able to beat the Nets with Giannis playing light minutes, then everyone can relax for a few days, then starting Sunday go all-in for that #2 seed in these final 12 games.

Only against the Lakers and Celtics do you get called for fouling someone on the elbow with your chin.

I was thinking similarly. He could play 25-30 minutes max and should still be a W.

Agree, just saying we're not 9.5 point favorites without Khris and Giannis

Ehhh, Brooklyn is hot garbage and we would still have Dame and Giannis replacement Bobby who has been going off.

I am not worried about Giannis getting his legs under him. He isn't a jump shooter who needs to stay in rhythm. In fact, usually when he gets a few games off Giannis comes back better than ever.

I will trust them if he plays tonight, just saying I would rest everyone tonight including Dame/Lopez.
