Problem is that this is a pretty rough matchup for the Bobby/Brook frontcourt, and that's something that I'm not putting entirely on Griffin in those first 5 meetings.

Bevs nod was hardly emphatic. Don't read too much into it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

During pod he said "we're without Giannis to start".

BP did say "I don't know anything but Big Bro's gonna be ready". Maybe he's just hyping up Giannis & he witnessed that Finals ramp up happen, so he has that bias.

Obviously different injuries, but kind weird how quickly JB and Zion have been ruled out. I wonder if the Bucks know or if it is truly day-to-day

Bev & Rone also questioning the First Take talk about Dame, "who knows where that's coming from".

To me it felt like an "everybody's going to be ready regardless of Giannis's status" nod.

Then they talk about Doc having the young guys push practice pace. Alluding tobpotebtial minutes for them. This is a series to get Thanasis minutes .imo.

He’s wearing me down, and I’m actually starting to agree with him on this one.

Go back to our pre-Giannis era. We had some stereotypical NBA divas who got all Emo when they got traded to Milwaukee, and pouted their way out of town. RJ and Stephen Jackson among others.

Dame will show us what he’s of made of in the playoffs. I don’t know which way this will go.

How are you gonna lump Dame in with the likes of dudes like Richard Jefferson and Stephen Jackson tho? Dame has finished top 8 in MVP voting 5 times in his career and been all NBA 7 times. He’s not averaging 32 a night like he did last year in Portland but his Bucks numbers are right on par with his career numbers and that’s a top 75 all time career.

Giannis just had the most efficient scoring season in NBA history, we’re just all ignorant to the fact Dame had nothing to do with that? Dame has played through injury, played through personal problems with his family and quite frankly, without Dame in the lineup the team was dog water as my kids would say. And we’re comparing him to the days with Richard Jefferson and Stephen Jackson? That’s absolute madness.

Come on PP, you’ve been following this franchise for how long now and you’re gonna take the bait? This year, Dame has put teams on ice, hit game winners, went for 30+ 20 times, had 15pt quarters, I mean what more do ppl want from the guy? To play defense like Jrue Holiday? Lol. That’s just completely unrealistic.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

Not worried. Portland Playoff Dame about to show why we got him. Fresh Giannis for round 2.

If Dame is who we think he is we will be fine. Khris got to step up and deliver as well. I am optimistic. 4-0 Bucks.

Two straight seasons where Freak gets dinged up at the worst possible time.

Hard to say since I wouldn't be shocked if he suddenly is shooting around during Game 1's warm-ups and announced in the starting five. Or Bucks want to potentially see how the 1st round shakes out in the first couple of games and maybe hold him out until Round 2 (if they get that far).
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Giannis is simultaneously an Ironman in the modern nba, but also it’s kind of not shocking when he misses playoffs games anymore. Usually random, weird injury moments, but they still find a way to happen.

It's not his fault and just **** luck but it's becoming a real issue either way. We watched him almost carry us to series win against Boston without Khris and without any help from the other guys and that's the last meaningful playoff impression I have of this team because he keeps getting hurt at the worst possible times. We don't really get to know what we are and can only speculate.

I said that with a healthy starting 5, the Bucks beat the Pacers in 6.

I also said that without one of the Big 3, Bucks lose in 5 or 6. Hope I'm wrong, but I stand by that. To win, Dame and Khris need to play 40 minutes a game and I don't know if that's enough with the way Dame has been playing.

Wait, why another 2-4 weeks and not from the time he was injured?

Sounded like the overall timeline, just as you're asking. So pretty sure it's 2-4 weeks from the injury.
